Sorry if this has already been answered but Im a bit confused.
Just accepted a scroll, and chose my lowest lvl alt for the lvl 80 boost (to avoid having to lvl it). I also chose to transfer server to the Scroll Sender's server. Will my other characters get transferred too or not? And if not, is there any way to do it for free? I chose to transfer because Silvermoon seemed like an very active server for raiding. However I dont want to split my characters up, especially since the one i chose to boost (and thus transfer) is an alt, and my main hasnt been transferred? Thanks |
Hello there Drdraenei. I can understand that, but you have to communicate it better, remember players who are receiving SoR's are rusty and not going to be familiar with your T's and C's and new ways of doing things. I couldn't log into my character to make a ticket within your 3 day deadline, which I was also not aware of. As I said, I am not looking for any kind of compensation or an additional character. and as someone who is returing to the game I was more interested in my main characters than I was a level 80 alt. I haven't maneged to come to any agreement and I won't be returning after all. |
Sorry if this has already been answered but Im a bit confused. Afraid not, you only get 1 character transfer if you require any more you will need to pay for them. Please note if you have any issue's please raise them within 3 days or Blizzard won't (be able to) help. |

Okay, thanks guess ill submit a ticket then.

A few friends of mine and myself are looking to try out WoW again.
There appears to be issues with the claiming the rewards of a scroll of ressurection on eu.battle.net as very few of my friends have gone through the process without some issue. I received a scroll yesterday (without receiving an e-mail notification,) from one of my friends who plays on another server/faction but as I had not been on WoW for 1yr I decided to "skip the reward for now" and move some gold/items across to the character I wanted to transfer over. When logging back into eu.battle.net, the claim rewards part as shown on their own video is not there and instead there is an advert for digitally upgrading to MoP. I submitted a ticket 24hrs ago and have still not received a response. Now I have 6 days remaining on the scroll and still cannot play with my friends. At least one of my friends has had the same issue. |

I've been inactive for 100 days today can i get a scroll of resurrection which gives me the 7 days free as I've been considering coming back? all I've been able to find is that you have to have to have not been playing since march to get the rewards i'm only looking for the game time..

@ Lazuras: Unfortunaly the "over 90 days inactive" information is outdated. For this SoR there is one solid rule: To be inactive on or prior 4th march and you've been active since 6 april. You will never be eligible for the current SoR/free gametime. Perhaps more luck after they announce a new SoR?

Thanks for answering Saneko, i had a feeling that would be the case but i thought i should ask anyway.

A friend of mine just sent me a scroll of resurrection and i just am not receiving it. Haven't played for over 6months. Think i should be eligible unless there is something i don't know. Can a GM be sweet and check why i aint getting it plz ? ^^ thank you.

@ Altas, the cutoff date is meant to prevent players going intentionally inactive so just to claim rewards meant to bring back players who had stopped playing WoW. I could if they did not have had a cutoff date just be 90 days inactive (prior rule) and then claim it.
@ Knucklehead, go to your account panel, license number (e.g. wow1) then scroll of resurrection -> received invitations/history. You don't need a mail. Also check the first page to see if you are actually living in an eligible country. |

I have a question, If i get the sroll of ressurection and play for the 7 days but then stop playing and start again when mist of pandaria comes out. Will my friend still get the mount or do you have to buy game time within 30 days after the 7 free days expired?

@"Who can receive a Scroll of Resurrection?
To be eligible to receive a Scroll of Resurrection, your friend must have a full (non-Starter Edition) World of Warcraft account, and their account must have been inactive (without an active subscription) on or before March 4th, 2012." I think that's a bit unfair to many players. account has been frozen April 20 i didnt buy next time because of lack of time. Now I want to go back and nobody can send me an invitation. SoR rules were friendlier to players before and now .. |
|
|
@ Archey: You don't need to pay directly for a month sub in the 7 days for your friend to receive the mount. Anytime after the free 7 days have run out you can still resub so your friend can receive it!
@ Alecia: Its meant to cutoff players from stopping playing only for the benefits of the scroll ^^ The date has not changed, and will likely not change for the current SoR. Maybe awhile after MoP is released they will make a new one with perhaps the same or other cool bonuses. Keep watching the official channels for news or changes. |

I have a question, I have two recently merged old accounts that are eligible for scroll of ressurection. I scrolled myself on one of the accounts and got the rewards. On my other account my friends and I have sent it Scroll of ressurection(s) but it is not appearing in my received invitations box. Am I only allowed 1 SoR redeem per battle.net account? Or do I have to wait a while( been waiting 10+ hours now) for the invite to come through?
Thanks |
|
|
@ Chopchop: I don't think they meant battle.net account but just eligible licenses. As long as you can see the received invitations tab not saying that you are uneligible you just need to wait on the invite to come through I guess.
Cake and cup of tea for waiting? Just only two gold! |
