|
i dont think its any good considering the pally and shamman were doing 22k to 24k i dont understand i was better geared than them i was using holy spec i wasnt slacking i healing just as much as they were.
any reason why? maybe my spec not enough mastery or play style is wrong maybe i dont know any advice i use inner will saves a bit of mana on instant cast spells chakra sanctuary circle of healing prayer of healing and mending flash heal only if needed lightwell is always up aswell |

I think that the encounter is tuned for 2 healers, and even then its pretty hard not to get bored in normal difficulty and one healer, usually the one spamming his buttons more will end up at the top. That being said, you're 3 healing it, and this means someone has to be at the bottom and in this case its you - now the question is, is it your fault? Perhaps.... Providing a log of would be helpful at least, we have no idea how you used your spells and whether you were tight on mana. Finally, I suggest not stressing too much about this, because it may very well be that the other two healers are playing more aggressively (read: spamming) than you. |

Because the fight doesn't require 3 healers?

that is another thing my mana runs low quite quick and the spells i mentioned are the only ones i use hymm ofc when needed flask heal when the tank runs below 50 percent health which i didnt use much against madness

I'm not much of a holy savvy, but I dont see inner will very valuable to holy priests, you shouldn't be using so many instants - its like what, pom?
I also cant see how you run oom with that kind of spirit. Personally, I just think the other healers are more aggressive and heal faster than you. Also, holy word sanctuary on the floor when ppl are stacked (bloods, cataclysm aoe etc)? |

Indeed it's not worth it. And you can oom if you do not pay attention to when you are using your shadowfiend. (10 man is more brutal on mana if you dont raid with a resto shaman ;) ) |

Oh yea, actually coh would give the most mana saving from inner will (sorry, after lunch sleepiness:<).
My 10 man exp is really shabby, I healed DS normal once with a bunch of alts and helped on spine/madness only a 2nd time on my pala. On spine I ended up 2 man healing with a shaman friend as our priest flew on the first roll, and it took quite good cds coordination between us to make it with mana till the end of the fight. On madness I was pretty much put to shame by a pug holy priest (he might have had quite better gear), and the only reasonable explanation I could come up with is that everybody was so spread I could just single target stuff around - and we were 3, with a resto shaman too, lulz. Since ppl say the fight is made for 2 healers, maybe I should have checked the overhealing :D. |

Whit 3 healers 14k avrage on all of them is what i was counting out whit the data.
You´r gear is nice so i supose you just used to litle off you´r spells and the other healers "overheal" fighting becouse you were whitout a dubt outgearing it |

I've 2 man healed all the normals from week one up, all as holy with a druid.
I can definitely tell you, that if you did not use your cooldowns use properly you WILL oom :P Spine is simple as holy really, chakra serenity (Counter intuitice perhaps), renew up. Unleash. Gheal once or twice and just switch. After a hug phase (4~5 people will have the debuff) swap to sanctuary for 30 sec and just hyhm it away :P As for madness, that fight is definitely 2 man material. We killed it on the second week after some massive guild drama with resto durid+holy priest :P And I can say this, without the 2 points in veiled shadows... I would not have made it xD (Double HoO+Fiend is really awesome ;) ) |
I've 2 man healed all the normals from week one up, all as holy with a druid. Oh, I didn't heal it with my priest, shes very much 25 manning, that was with my laladin alt :D. And as priest, I'm enjoying disc more than ever, so holy lost me for now :<. Maybe when we are done with progress, I'll try it out. About 2 manning healing on madness, reckon more dps would make it easier - nothing like those adds dying of old age. |
As crazy as it sounds, these days with the debuff it is actually HARDER as holy/druid then it was before the nerf. People gun down the tentacle so insanely fast that on the first platform we have to yell to people to stop dps or risk it going below 70% before the corruption is out :P (DW Starts to get nasty aoe wise below it, at least mana wise). Hell the first time after the 5% nerf when we wacked him we nuked him so hard at the start that we ended up getting the blistering the moment the tentacle decided to slam hit the raid who at that point, was still hugged up... yeah did not end well xD Really, the nerf makes certain things harder. Like pre-nerf I could use my hyhm on 4 platforms at least. Now I actually watch in horror as it comes off cooldown 5 seconds after a tentacle is dead. Or shadowfiend comming off c/d at times where it wont last the full duration >_< Silly stuff really :P |
