Greetings. <Raiding with the Stars> are looking for a DPS or 2 for MoP. We are a 10 man guild. Ideally, we want ranged, but if an insanely good melee comes along, we might be able to sort something out. We would love a Boomkin/Elemental Shaman.

We are however, quite a strange guild. Most of our Guild are fairly young (18-22) so our sense of humour might not match that of someone who's a lot older. We find people falling off platforms, or their chair, totally hysterical. Someone getting a Shadow Spinel from their Essence of Corrupted Deathwing is our sort of humour, when they really needed a Queen's Garnet for their gear. Overall, we are all fairly immature. That said though, we always manage to pull together and get the job done. And we need some extra players to tag along and help us be consistent with it.

Our raid days and times are 19:45 'til 23:00 Game Time. Tues/Wed/Thurs/Sun.

We are pretty relaxed in the Guild about most things, however, there are some rules we do ask you go by:

1) ATTENDANCE! If you're going to be late, let one of us know. There's nothing worse than sitting waiting at a portal for you to show up. Raiding with us for a while then making up a chain of useless excuses will more than likely land you with a bad reputation with us. Just because you have what you need doesn't mean you don't need to bother coming any more.

2) Don't be a moaner when it comes to loot. We all want a lot of it, and anyone who tells you otherwise has alternate motives to get their share. We run a loot council system, which means the Raid Leader gets the final call on who gets what. We try to distribute it as evenly as possible, but sometimes you need to take a loss on the chin (and whisper bad things to the winner afterwards).

3) Don't suck. We try and get the best out of everyone in our guild. Making a simple mistake will likely result in one of us getting mad at you. We all make mistakes, and I mean all of us, you need to be prepared to take a lot of digs. If you rarely make mistakes, then make a nice big one, you'll probably not forget it for a while. (Redefine forgetting to tank a tenticle, or Synful backpeddling off a platform on Heroic Deathwing). If you get hit by an Icewave on Hagara, be prepared to run and hide.

4) Have an extremely twisted sense of humour. Everyone in the Guild has the same mindset. We find things funny that others would probably find awful. My story of when the woman slipped over on some ice and dropped all her shopping over the road is a hot favourite. We don't mean anything malicious by it, but we will more than likely offend you at some point. Having a good armoury of fat jokes at the ready to use on me and Synful is likely to land you in everyones good books.

If you're wondering why I made us look like a bunch of... reprobates, it's because we pretty much are. It's better that way, as when you join, there's no suprises. Do remember though, just because we have a good laugh and a joke most of the time, doesn't mean that some nights Redefine wont crack the whip and get us doing a good solid 4 hours of progress on a boss. You need to be prepared for both sides of the guild.
