Siege of Orgrimmar

The impact and sense of pride this might have for the Alliance is severely diminished by the fact they are actually HELPING the Horde here.
With that said in general it doesn't interest me unless it is used as a distinctive chance for night elves to give some !@#-kicking payback for everything the orcs have done in Ashenvale. Unfortunately, the fact they literally end up helping the Horde with this makes that extremely unlikely, and I know Blizzard enough to know that it is most likely just going to be humans again who will take the credit. We'll have to see, but I have low hopes and care little at this moment. |

If i were alliance (luckily im not) i would burn orgrimmar to the ground but as always alliance is lead by a weaklings...You got so much reasons to hate orcs (each race i think):
Humans for destroy stormwind, killing innocent womens/childrens during First/Second war. Ner'Zhul was orc and his manipulations during his imprisonment in frozen throne bring Lordaeron to fall after all. Wildhammer dwarves for crush Grim Batol , Dark Iron for Shadowforge. Draenei...lol...They were almost annihilated by a legion controlled orcs clans, but you know light wroship and other puzzel things require them to be good ;) Night Elves for devastating their sacred ancient Ashenvale forest by a Warsong Clan (Under World-Shaman permission ;) ) I always wonder why Alliance of Lordaeron didn't listen to Gilneas and mass execute all of the orc instead of keep them in camps...But you know i'm a Death Knight without emotions so i just point your mistakes...Honestly i thought Varian (He was a horde gladiator after all ;) ) will be your hope for show the horde where it's place is but you'll end as always. |

So one can merely assume then that post-Garrosh, Horde gets reverted back ,from a heavily armored city, to a couple of wooden huts and tents and yet another pacifist leader is appointed. I can't see Sylvanas getting top dog title, however. She gets lead and she'll turn all living horde members into undead. Good luck writing that peice of "lore", blizz.

This is such a bull!@#$.... Garrosh has his flaws but atleast he makes decisive warchief. If that damn world-shaman mary sue Thrall is made warchief again I will wash my hands on entire warcraft franchise... seriosly I was biggest fan of Thrall when WoW started but Cataclysm annihilated any credibility his charecter had.
I really hate how Alliance can siege and raze Orgrimmar and even HORDE participates in it... |

That's not a very nice thing to call Metzen. The way Varian has been built, there is no way he'd leave Orgrimmar standing if he had the chance... |

I only wonder why does Garrosh have to die? Because thrallieboyxxd (that's just a name noobs take) wants to become the warchief again? Or is Garrosh suddenly corrupted by the Old Gods?
And once again, one of the Horde races will be close to annihilation, but still they'll find a way to keep the Horde-Alliance balanced! Alliance is like 3 times the Horde, but the Wrath gate and now this, will only make the Alliance 4 times bigger. I'm so happy we still have the Val'kyr. First the Forsaken uprising and now the orcs civil war (a lot of orcs actually support Garrosh ...). And who's going to conquer OG? Aggra and Thrall, fighting alongside Varian and Jaina (if she isn't an undead yet). Yeah right blizz Most likely blizz will read this and say N'zoth did this ... As usual. I like the old gods, but they shouldn't make them the reason for all the bad stuff. |

A quest line will have you meet Baine and Vol'jin in secret, where they discuss how Garrosh is taking the Horde into an abyss of hatred and insanity. Mustering the Forces <Player>, we need your help! Muster the forces loyal to the true Horde, that which believes in Honor and Respect! Remember Grom and the sacrifice he did! Baine Bloodhoof and Shadow Hunter Vol'jin have asked you to kill ten boars and come back to them when the armies of the true Horde arrive. Sylvanas will find out what Baine and Vol'jin are up to and will have a hard time deciding what to do. Sylvanas (creepy voice): If Garrosh finds out about this and I haven't said anything I will not get invited for tea in Orgrimmar anymore. But what if Baine and Vol'jin dethrone Garrosh? if I help the latter it will not be pretty for me either, especially since that minor incident at the Wrathgate. Will sit on the fence for a while and see what's what and when is clear what side is about to win, just have a good alibi ("Nathanos delayed me wink wink") Word reaches the World-Shaman of this secret meeting and meets up with the Chieftain and the Hunter. Thrall: Secrecy leads to hate, my friends. Baine: Well, he didn't kill YOUR dad. Thrall: We must forgive, younglings, forgive and bring civilization to this panda world. Moira: Will not immortality be Thrall's again since he is the one purging the badies from the Horde? We are just kinda helping. Varian: Shush! That's why we are attacking from the other entrance, to wipe them all, you silly woman. Garrosh: Jesus! They both are attacking! My kingdom for a Saurfang to come and protect me! ........... But thinking about it from gampley pov you know...Alliance burn orgrimmar, Orcs need new city (i know not all races got one, but orcs are in warcraft from the first RTS game where u play with keyboard only o_0 so i guess they are more important than others, just as humans in the alliance) and the BOOOM...124312432536 threads like

Wow people are crying early. You know the end of the plot but not the journey.
You don't know what Garrosh has done to warrent this through MoP. You don't know how many losses the Alliance or Horde have got due to this, yet again, escalted war. Perhaps the anti Garrosh horde have gone to the Alliance for help in some form of treaty or deal...OR maybe the Alliance has somehow gone to them. You don't know s**t basically, yet. Also I do have to wonder about all these people posting that are so anti-biased...Calling for complete Alliance victory over the horde. Hmm... |

would be nice if:
-garrosh develops into a really,really good character during MoP,that we start to love him (hordies),the aftermath is pure hatred because he'll be killed,and hordies will QQ :D -joint attack on orgrimmar horde and ally -with his last breath,garrosh heralds a dark force that will consume us all (garrosh made a pact with sargeras :D) and BOOM,world of warcraft: burning crusade 2.0 with sargeras +alliance razes org,pwns the horde,horde relocates to another zone and builds another city,would be cool |

Ok, so Blizzard go halfway by allowing players to down a leader. Cool. But it's too sketchy for Alliance at best.
Shouldn't the Horde take out a leader too? Could be that Moira is ripe for culling and her child gets reared by the others only to learn one day of the murder of his mother and RAAAA! Horde-slayer is born! Yada yada. I have no hope that this will become more than another one-sided gimmick. :( |
