I've been wondering quite a while why does my hunter's mark go off when some other hunter in raid casts it. From what I understand, it gives only personal damage buff so it's pretty weird that only one hunter can have it on at same target. Or have I understand it wrong and it gives buff to all hunters hitting the same target? At least if it does, the hunter's mark icon should be shown to every hunter in raid so people don't need to wonder if they get the extra damage or not.

ALL ranged attacks are affected, not just you, but other hunters and rogues and warriors with thrown as well
