to begin with,,, if anyone could pass this along more directly then this forum to Nephadne it would be greatly appreciated
ill try to be short... but this night... last night... saturday night... the first full night after me and my gf recieved a MoP invite (flag) it was the most amazing night in a while... we bothed looked forward to discovering the next expantion for so long,,, but when this bug started to appear,, all those hopes and dreams drained away And you were the difference between no one hearing us or paying attention to us,,, and having a blizz person present who cared about our situation no one will ever know what exactly you did to voice me and my gf and the rest of the ppl who were in the same situation,,, and no one will know if any of your actions made any difference,,, at least know that 2 ppl appreciate your efforts to fix all.. which tonight resulted in the most amazing night... the difference to go insane out of frustration,,, and keeping it all together on the edge. for whatever reason you got removed from the thread,,, i hope that it wasnt for your commitment to fix the issue in this thread, or anything else,,,,, like getting fired,,, you were our one and only representative... and because of your actions (ok maybe without them,,, it would have gone the same way) but..... even if both ways resulted in a fix.... your were the representative ther.... the one who kept us sane while we were on the verge of going insane... so i would like to thak you for all you did... and wishing you to have a nice relaxing moderator carreer in this company...thank you,,, it was a magical night |

I finally got my invite, BUT I still cant play:
World of Warcraft®: Cataclysm [WoW2] Public Test Realm (PTR) World of Warcraft®: Mists of Pandaria [WoW3] Public Test Realm (PTR) So the beta is WoW3 - but when I try to login to the Beta, I can only select WoW1 or WoW2 - neither of which work. (Hell, there isn't even a WoW1 on my account anymore, so why is that there!?) And no, changing the .config file in my WTF folder doesn't help. |

There're several things that worked against that. Try removing the option to save your account name, exit the client and reopen, then try logging in again - this worked for me and gave me the option to pick between wow1 and wow3. Failing that, try changing your password. There might be more things that can work too but I can only recall those two.

Tried all of that, doesn't work. The closest I got was editing my .config file which gave me the option to select WoW3 from the dropdown box at the login screen, but as soon as I hit login, I got confronted with the account select menu with only WoW1 and WoW2 to select.

This is NOT a thread about the PTR. It's a thread about a beta that is long since closed. Please don't post here, and I'm not even sure if the PTR realm are open at this time. If they're offline they might be on maintenance or whatever, but CS doesn't even have anything to do with PTRs so you can't get help here.
