Unfortunately there is little to no chance of Blizz doing anything about this until at least half way through mop i imagine.
Its down to us as the horde community to come up with our own idea's to make this a place people want to play and to spread the word and encourage folks to xfer or reroll here. Lets Stop waiting around for blizz to take action and start brainstorming Some projects of our own to Regenerate Alonsus Horde |

We could entice alliance players into org by having naked belfs pole-dancing on the rooftops and maybe, if we are tempted not to fight, then shower them in pretty flowers and show them we are friendly bunch so they will wish to transfer over...then we will be just like them...and i switched from them in the first place....
what am i thinking? ...me um erm tauran cow and not think. Me animal me thunk refined humans over da head with posies and pick wild flowers and sniff my bum... There's a reason why server has players who wont take to being a horde...ever...they wont embrace the undead, decaying, animalistic scary side. They should do. It's more fun and we take things way less serious. |

For a while now I've been trying to gather some data about how many players we have and what are they doing. So after a while I stumbled upon some interesting data. Where on horde we have about 960 characters, where on alliance there are about 3250 characters of level 85, which makes you wonder . . . We've been struggling for a while now, to get some decent chaps for our Pug Runs for some Heroic Dragon Soul 10, but seems the lack of interest is far too obvious =|. Just an easy observation, compare how many raiding guilds are on alliance and how many are on horde, there are far to many that have done at least something in heroic mode, while on horde there should be fair amount as well, but that's not how it is. As far as it goes, can see 3, where we could argue if it is not even lower than that. So that bring up the question, where is the rest of us ? oO makes you wonder what the rest of those 900 people are doing, assuming there is a portion of alliance who has those as their alts on horde side. Anyhow, as far as I can tell, there is a potential, but seems the lack of proper motivation is devastating us big time. I'm up for raiding, that's what I like to do, all ways up for some good fight where you have to overcome some interesting obstacle together as a team, we've show that we could and did, while we did, but once you lose someone and cant replace that someone you're doomed to fail.
To be honest, if everything fails, we might have to look for some really odd solutions, where maybe make some fairly unique all together guild where we could do what we want, since in next expansion it will be quite hard for most of the guild, here on horde, to get those levels due low player base. The active playerbase at 85 will be a lot lower than the 960 level 85s on-realm.. If each of those Hordies have an average of 2 level 85s, that drops the active players by 50%, then you have alliance alts, players who only PVP, players who just like to level to 85 and start a new toon, players who hit 85 and quit, or re-rolled on other realms.. We probably only have a couple of hundred active 85's at most. Gone are the good days, I miss our LK Hc progression runs, the fun times of Sindragosa being bugged and tombing tanks just to make us run back while spirits were bugged and moved at 10%.. Someone always pulling at least 1 valkyr on the way to LK, those were the glory days in Stalkers, where raiding wasn't just raiding, it was entertaining, we laughed when we got the kills, and laughed even more when we wiped. Earlier tiers I raided in always had the players to fill spots, even pug at any time of the day or night, Toc, Ulduar, Naxx, I didn't raid back in BC, just levelled up, took a break, came back not long before WOTLK hit, but today, Alonsus Horde is a shadow of it's former self.. The game as a whole has held the hearts of some, but lost appeal for many. |

Maybe we can try to make a raid group for DS25 or Firelands25.

I remember things being lively during WotLK; this server was fantastic fun! Unfortunately, I, too, migrated away due to various issues revolving around the sheer inactivity (and a nasty case of harassment)! It was absolutely bizarre to set foot on a server with an extremely busy Horde-population; Alonsus' Orgrimmar is a mere ghost-town in comparison to the other realms.
Regardless, best of luck to those who still remain on this server! Alonsus really did have a fantastic community of folk- it's a shame to see it dwindle away. |

Well ive heard through the the grapevine rem alternis have jumped ship and xrealmed now as well.
Tbh with the lack of response or Even idea's presented in my other thread im really doubting there's anything left here worth saving |
