[A-RP] The Ravenhawk Company recruits again!

Right, as some might know the Ravenhawk Company has left Stormwind for various causes I will mention below. The way we conduct our Roleplay now is during something I call travelling RP. We don't stay in the same camp for too long. Which gives the guild a very strict and vivid storyline going next to the storyline of every specific character in the guild.
The way we do it is that we have a locked location we're headed for and we take it slowly going there, completely IC. One to two times a week we swap location, a new camp and new events. We have various events almost every day, might become less depending on activity of course so this is not a promise. But I would say we are fairly active and depending on how many are online we usually have active RP within the guild from six in the afternoon until after twelve during the nights. Since we've had incidents when people have "found" us without us knowing we decided to conduct guild RP only which some outsiders think is "a douche move". However, our storyline is important to us and we can't risk outsiders coming in and messing it up for us because they're bored and so on. But of course we still want new members. Which is why we have some rules to become one from now on. To be recruited you whisper either me (Thelrassian) or Lulina. We will most likely ask about your character, of course we realize that some recent things might change since we need to find your character a nice logical way to join. Perhaps he's a soldier or worker at the camp we're headed for and after seeing the glorious mercenaries he/she might wish to join them for various reasons. Perhaps bored or wants more coin or something like that. So we'd ask about your character, get the pulse of you as a player, sorry but there are a lot of lollers and trollers out there. Then we'd most likely let you know when we'd involve said character in an event, how we come upon him. Then we play it out IC. An important note is that you're not a member until you've received an invite to the guild and we don't invite for OOC reasons. Even though you've spoken to a leader and consorted an event there are still ways you won't be accepted. Perhaps you clash with a character and we decide the risk of them killing each other is far too great. Perhaps it's something else. Here should be noted for your sake that we don't take kindly to warlocks, necromancers, death knights or any other "evil" class unless you have some good reasons for playing them. I should also note that it's important you know your lore about the class and race you play. We take the liberty of disclosing certain races and / or classes we feel we have too many from. So it would simply be best if you create a roleplay character to fit the guild so to speak. The background: The Ravenhawk Company, lead by Azzeron V. Balthon struck up a war with the mighty criminal organisation The Rose. After truces were broken and fights were conducted it all ended in the daughter of Azzeron, Katula, was killed brutally by the Rose. The company during this time was lead by Lulina since Azzeron had for a while cone undercover in the Rose for various reasons. Azzeron now mad with grief went after the Rose, now a lower ranked member of the company. He tried trapping them but ended up paying his own bill, dying at his own hands in the hopes of taking them with him, which failed. Now the Ravenhawk Company has seen the power of the Rose, their members scared and worried. The man who started the war being dead, Lulina chose to flee rather than to risk her precious members, since coin can be earned anywhere. They packed their bags and headed for Kalimdor. They ventured from Northwatch Hold up to the Overgrowth and on to Honours Stand. And from there on their ventures continue, through Stonetalon Mountains, up and through the forests of Ashenvale and then finally they'd arrive at Darnassus where their goal is for now.Since we've had good feedback from this traveling kind of RP we're thinking that after we reach Darnassus we'll choose a character who on behalf of his own story, his own background chooses a location for an event of various theme. Perhaps his family is in this town and he fears for their safety for some reason. Perhaps it's as simple as an old friend offering someone a nice bounty to slay a beast causing havoc to their town. But these are our plans now, if we remain active. This is where I thank you for your patience while reading all of this and now I hope I've at least peaked your interes. Not for you? Fine. No worries. Perhaps you'd want to try it out, at least it'll generate RP in that case. So if you wish to be part of this kind of RP please contact me or Lulina in game, either via whisper or in-game mail and we'll get back to you and plan out an event where you join. It should also be noted that random non-guildies trying to strike up RP with us will most likely (or should) be ignored. Remember, Patience is a virtue. |

I was Azzeron.V.Balthon, and I have watched this guild grow, and grow, it is full of some great role players, and some of my best friends in the game. The rp standard is high and great fun. The storyline is detailed and the event quality is of a great standard.
I guess what I am trying to say is, this guild is great fun to be a part of, and I have had many a fun time role-playing with this band of maverick mercenaries. Keep at it lads! |

I agree fully with Bron. We're social and relaxed. We keep our own storyline as long as the one of each character and there's loads of fun things going on ICly. And of course we don't force anyone to be online, of course you'll have a harder time climbing the ranks if you're not active but casual roleplayers who're in it just for the fun are very welcomed.

Correction. I have seen the Guild grow out of nothing, to then be made nothing, then become something, then become more of a something! Join up against our rivals and fight against us! We fight hard and drink harder! |

I should add to all those opposed to fighting the Rose or other guilds:
We might come in contact with other guilds, thus under planned events between leader for extra fun. No random fights since we ignore outsiders unless it's been planned. And there is a very small chance that we will actually be fighting the Rose since we left Stormwind becuase of them. |

Of course. I have no issues with the Rose whatsoever on an OOC basis. They're all huggly and cuddly bears. =)

I'm agreeing with Lul, We do have a lot of fun and loads of fun and huge events. We've had loads of positive feedback on the joint events me and Lulina have made. And we have ideas that will bring the Ravenhawk Storyline to a new level. The main thing we need is not time nor gold. We need members, active members to be precise. To join in the fun.
The more the merrier. So if anyone wanna give it a go just whisper us. If you join we won't force you to be online unless you sign up for events (even then we don't force you) and you can leave again whenever you want. |

Bump for an awesome guild. :) Events just keep getting better and better, including the demolition of a Venture Co. site, and a parachuting Dwarf thrown into the mix!
