Havent seen a thread for awhile. I posted on the beta forums but would like to think im not the only one with these concerns.

I was playing around on the beta recently and everything i saw about the crappy rogue trees is a reality on there.

I didnt get a single choice on any tier where to put a point. The glyphs are equally as bad despite being 'revamped' for all classes. Its nice to see that things like the op ambush glyph remains.

Theres too much emphasis on stun/disorient/cripple talents. Playing other classes you can quickly see the different in the amount of new glyphs/choice on talents.

we havent gained any raid utility/cooldown also - i can already assume aoe stealth will be worthless in pve.

Just to put it into perspective. Other classes that already had specs that perform alround well war for example . have gained both self survivability and additional raid coodlowns. They also have interesting trees/glyphs with many choices.
The raid crit damage increase cooldown should of really gone to a rogue its more fitting.

In the last 2 contents there has been a great deal of melee hate, aside from that i feel other than bladeflurry gimmick which is often doing unnecessary dps to irrelevent targets theres little a rogue is bringing - no raid cooldown, terrible at target switching/burst, inferior mobility, no aoe.
Changing spec can remedy some of this but forced to playing 2 pve specs switching between encounters and playing with non optimal reforing shouldnt be there.
Theres classes doing both single and aoe dps who can switch targets and also bring some powerful cooldowns.

My only positive is there bandits guile/5 stack poison change which should eliminate some problems, but i feel we shouldnt of had to wait for an expansion for something like that.

Playing my hunter & war which i both raided ds 10 with and seeing the difference in beta im wondering what the hell happend with the mop rogue team.

is it still ok for raiding though? because i prefer to raid on my rogue but i need to know if it will be better to raid on my palladin instead? =)

The numbers will likely be competitive. The more important stuff, like having fun while doing it, enjoying your class, they aren't there. Rogues in Mists are boring, outdated, have awkward and clumsy rotations, have insignificant talents from a PvE point of view, get more abilities which don't work in Raids... There's really nothing to look forward to as a Rogue. It's a shame, really. At least there's new content, but you can see that as any class, so it's not really any saving grace.

Rogues are looking seriously !@#$ in MOP.. their talents, their glyphs EVERYTHING.. they are all gimmiky crap that might be "Ohh cool.. WoW' to a kid the first time he / she sees them, but that will soon wear off..{I was thinking of the decoy vanish and pickpocket glyphs there}.. Utter garbage..

Everything looks very pvp ish in the talent tree, for the first time ever my rogue is not going to be my main.. its been my main since I first started playing in Vanilla.. I stuck with it through the bad times as it was my only char at level cap back then.. but now I have quite a few over several accounts...Sayiong that though, I havent really seen ANYTHING that looks really good.. they have changed far too many of the core abilities of classes I play and all or the worse imo..
I liked locks s they had a fairly complex rotation to play well.. but seems they just want arcane mage clones running around their servers :S
