News: Tonight (check the date if reading in the future) There is a meeting of the outriders, in other news we are almost ready to do Guild runs. Aka'magosh soldiers of the horde.

The stage is set. With the briefing over, Operation:Wolftooth is in effect.
What is Operation: Wolftooth? Operation: Wolftooth is the codename for a top secret search and rescue operation, behind the walls of Gilneas its self! A Horde Field Scientist, going my the name Arius Filch, disappeared into the foggy woodlands two long months ago. Now, Horde forces have picked up the signal. The signal of a distress beacon, belonging to Mr Filch! Our Mission? To break our way through the wall with the rest of Roilane's forces, and from there set up a base of operations. We are to locate the beacon, and thus the scientist. But is it that simple? No. It is never simple in Gilneas. Everything that isn't your brothers in arms, will be trying to kill you. When we enter Gilneas, communication goes to a minimum. Every transmission can and most likely -will- get into Alliance hands. If you want to be in on the most daring, action packed, thrill ride of a survival storyline, get in touch! We accept all levels of experiance in Rp. Are you good with a bow? Do you like to cause a scene? Are you a gifted doctor? These are all skills that the company can use! And for all you greedy ones out there, the pay is from the War Funds! It is a very nice salary indeed! We are no Horde Military. We are the Outrider Company! And we are the Wolves of War! |

"The Alliance. A pompous band of shiny armoured weaklings. As Outriders, you will get your fair share of them to add to your Kill Cards. Take the happenings at Purgation Isle as a tale of encouragement...
The Commander, the mighty Wolfarrow, took his most trusted Outriders with him to aid the Horde assault. Standing beside the High Executioner Roilane, And the Warlord Jangas himself, the Outrider Company lay waste to an Alliance resistance force. They stood at no match to the mastery of both brutality, and efficiency. No matter how many hits those warriors took, they refused to fall to the Alliance. The Isle was taken, not by numbers, but by skill. Recruits! Listen to these words! Keep them ever in your mind as you face down those Alliance curs! The Alliance is growing stronger, that there is no doubt! But we are stronger still! Of we are Outriders! And we are the Wolves of War!" On another note, yesterday our Head of Defence, Gralnurg, was challenged by Dragrom to take on a Hydra! An impossible feat to pull off, especially without armour. Yet...The reason Gralnurg earned Head of Defence shone through that night. His undying resolve in battle. With the Outrider Oath on his lips he bore the brunt of every attack the Hydra threw. He survived something five Bloodblade recruits could not! He is a master of war. A warrior, an Outrider, set to go down in history of the Company. (( On a more Out-of-character note, I send a big thanks out to our Head of Stealth, Lauren. She has been a massive contributor to the guild, joining me in the Official Outrider Arena team. Earning mountains of Guild Experience! Every day the Company grows. More fill our ranks, seeking blood and Honour.)) The Outrider Company is still recruiting! We are still looking for an expert in explosives to fill the final spot in the Leadership team! Do you have a skill? Want to put it to use, and hold the title of Outrider to your name? Contact Narkol or Roat in-Game, or make a comment on here, and we will do our best to get in contact. "You say you want to go down in history? Prove it to me! Show me...that you are an Outrider! A Wolf of War!" |

Operation: Wolftooth is in effect. The Shadow's Reach's invasion has allowed the Outriders into Gilneas, and we repaid the kindness by slaughtering the Alliance defenders under High Executor Roilane's command. Now we will undertake our own mission, and it will be filled with danger, death, doom and destruction.
Afterwards, there will be grief counselling and pork. Lok'tar Ogar! |
|
|
Derp, Narkol's been laid low for a while by some infected shrapnel injuries, so Roat is our acting Commander.
The company is doomed. In other news, our normally honour-obsessed reputation is being pushed to the edge by the Shadows' Reach's slaughter of civilians at the Emberstone Mine. How long until the Company is pushed too far? How will we react to Roilane's dishonourable warfare? When will I stop posting rhetorical questions? Find out in the next episode of The Outrider Company - Join now, and be awesome! |

Looking at the last few events we've done, you're most definitely welcome XD.
Speaking of events, here's the news bump: The Outriders are still without their leader, but Roat is doing a damn fine job of keeping everything ship-shape. The entire Company has worked with the Bloodblades in their continuing battle with Akamodo and Salphion, cinching another victory for the Horde! Today, Blood Guard Gralnurg led a small strike force into a Fel Orc stronghold and dealt them a blow from which they will be slow to recover. Things are looking good for the Horde, and morbid for those in its way. Lok'tar! |

After the past dark days in Gilneas, the Outrider Company are left questioning their own honour. This has provoked our most daring mission to date, one where the Commander is playing the cards close to his chest.
Outriders are scattered all across Azeroth, fighting with the Bloodblades, the Shadows' Reach, and investigating dozens of other threats. We have multiple missions planned, all requiring our most skilled soldiers. We have our resident healers, Aknah the Third Person Narrator and Regartha Oh Fel My Eyes, our spy network, led by Lauren the Really Short Goblin, and the wall of immovable plate that is Gralnurg of Many Different Weapons. We have a mobile artillery Orc called Dhaggra (Welcome, Dhag!), an assassin of great skill and an Undead guy who smells kind of funny, along with many more deadly soldiers. But we need more! We need the greatest skill the Horde has to offer. We need you, Outrider! Lok'tar Ogar! I'll see you on the battlefield. |
|
|
By the hand of our Champion, Roat Daggerfang, and members of the Bloodblades and Al'zadar, the dishonourable Roilane Seril has been executed*, and our company's honour restored**. Just hours ago, our vaunted Commander slew a towering Primal Elemental (With some minor help from the BB's of course,) and requisitioned some more firepower for Operation: Wolftooth this Friday.
*Hah, hahaha. Hah. **But more honour is to come, just you wait! Outriders! Be there, be square, and be deadly! Lok'tar! |

Psht, I was Executed by the Forsaken...
Did you think I have forgiven? Did you think I had forgotten? Bump for these guys, awesome RPers! o/ |

Gilneas, ravaged by campaign after campaign, yet secrets are still to be unearthed...
The Outrider Company took to Gilneas in the persuit of answers and honour only to raise more questions, and muddy the Company's name in innocent blood. Now the Company strives for a new goal. Each mission is no longer just for money. No longer for that feeling of glory, no longer to go down in history. The Outrider Company is on a path of redemption. Where is leads, no one knows. But one thing is certain, the path to redemption is filled with hate, anger, and bitter revenge. The first port of call, Operation:Wolftooth. The beacon had been transmitting for a long time now, yet strangely no sign of Alliance activity. Under the cloak of darkness, the Gilnean sky but a rolling tide of grey, the Outrider Company set to work. Calling in the Aid of the Bloodblade's bravest heroes, and the very Jin of the Alzadar, the Company led a daring mission on Tempest's reach, home to the ferocious Dread Pirate Grimeye. They swooped low over the surging tide, holding fast the the reigns of their mounts as they snook undetected past two "Malevolence" class frigates. They dismounted at the base of Light House Bridge, a minuscule hunk of rock lashed by the waves. Ropes were grabbed and thrown, a difficult feat in such conditions, but they hit their mark all the same. Glances and nods were all that was exchanged before the Company started the climb, they had to be quiet. They needed to be quiet. As they reached the top of the bridge, Outrider Zinc took down a patrolling pirate and the body was disposed of quickly. From there the warriors of the Horde planned their assault. Three would go ahead. Gralnurg, Head of Defence, and two just as powerful Bloodblades. They walked with calm right into the Pirate camp, oh so perfect. The attention was all on them, no single pirate saw the rest awaiting on the rooftops. Even with two pirates to each man, no pirate made it out alive. One was left till last, interrogated on the location of our Beacon before he was silenced also. From there, the Company and it's allies travelled further inland to Grimeye's personal lodging. Under an great ashen tree, they fought Grimeye's best men. It was a tough fight, as if all of Gimeye's men were specifically picked for their target. But they found death non the less. All that stood in the way was Gimeye. He used a combination of drunken fighting skill, and necromantic power to bring his warriors back from their bloody graves. But nothing will deter the warriors of the Horde, Grimeye's men would die again. After a run in with Grimeye's roof mounted repeating cannon, the Company was able to retrieve the Beacon from his home, and whatever other stolen goods the dread captain possessed. This was the start of something new. This was the first step in the winding path of redemption and revelation. IC Notice for all Outriders: Under the verdict of the Commander Wolfarrow, and his champion, all that hold Shadows Reach to their name are our enemy. We treat them like we do any other enemy. Do not take them on on your own, always outnumber them before engaging, they are a dangerous bunch of corpses. Orgrimmar is no longer their home. If they come here...they will not leave. |

Since the Outrider Company was formed, there have been many many people involved with it's progression. Countless hours of guild Dungeon Runs, guild arenas, and achievement farming has slowly set this dream in motion.
I can now announce that The Outrider Company is Level 3! Thats right! Us! Level three! But, like I said, it couldn't have been done without teamwork. The Company is full of hard working individuals that the Commander and I cannot thank enough. An extra Thank You! goes out to Hagthor of the Bloodblades. He took time out of his busy week of killing in the name of the Legion to hop into the Company, and aid Gralnurg and I in achieving Guild Level 3 We may be doing a lot IC as a guild, but OOC we are just as active! We do Guild Arenas, boosts, guild dungeons, even random Battlegrounds to enhance our teamwork skills! In a few year's time we will look back on this thread, and revel in the gloy and achievement of our members. So much praise has been given, and so much more awaits for members who go above and beyond in both this guild, and our community as a whole. This raises questions for you: Are you a team player? Do you want to be part of the Outrider Company's history? Do you want to punt gnomes and punch humans? Then give the Company a go! Lets see if you are a Wolf of War! |

Edited by Roat on 25/07/12 10:17 (BST)
Once again, the Outrider Company set off for Ashenvale. Roat took his best outriders, something didn't feel right that night.
His feeling were brought to justice when Bruth of the Bloodblades sent Sargia, Talindra, and himself to scout the northern shores. The grey sands were awash with naga, twilight cultists, elementalists, and the far off roars of monsters from the depths. The Outrider Company stood strong with the Bloodblades, it was time to make armies fall! They charged forward on snarling wolves, Bruth gave the signal, and Roat unleashed as payload of smokebomb charges that enshrouded the naga in a thick choking smoke. With the Naga now in a blind charge towards us, we broke for the trees and began to circle round. Now we were but metres away from the shrine. But the shrine was heavily guarded. Two naga warlords were quickly disbatched and we made it to the orb inside. After a mild case of Tsunami, everyone was back on their feet, no naga standing. The orb shattered into three pieces, one to stay with Bruth, the Bloodblades. One to the Requilary, and one to be placed by Roat in the deep dark vaults of Outrider Hall. One of the most impenetrable safes in Orgrimmar. A lot of adventurers caught Champion Daggerfang's eye that day. A lot of potential new recruits will be travelling to the hall in the coming days to see if they can pass the test. "War is a messy thing. But the battlefield is our leather, their blood is our paint, and our hands draw their doom!" |

With just three quarters of an hour until the Outriders begin their mission in the Scarlet Monastery, we're preparing our axes and our bows (and our screaming Gralnurgs) to mete death onto our enemies as only the Outrider Company can.
Mind, it's not an exclusive mission - the Bloodblades have sent soldiers to our aid, and there are sure to be other skilled fighters joining us. I'm not promising victory. I'm not promising loot, plunder or fame. But I am promising some kickass RP. Lok'tar Ogar, wolves of war! |

The Scarlet Bastards put up a fight, alright. Their defence was insultingly poor, but when we'd made their torture victim stable and were about to leave, they had finally found their PVP trinkets and surrounded us. Fourty of them, eight of us... It wasn't looking like a good fight. Which is why the Horde is awesome. By working together as a single soldier with sixteen limbs, we covered eachothers backs, and slaughtered the foe.
And upon leaving, the Prisoner we rescued unleashed shadow magic more powerful than any mortal could conceive, and knocked us all down and out. It's flying to Stormwind now. Lok'tar? |
