Easiest class with high dps?

I hate people who go for a faceroll class thats easy to play but does high dmg, it's about the fun of your class, also a challenge is good and teaches you to play, but yes arcane mage is the best, however not one of the highest DPS anymore.

Which part of ret pala now is difficult ? When my ret dinged and went to LFR, I read the tooltips and and got above 20k without reading a single theory. Now with higher gear level and read theory, I can as well attend any hc DS raid with her (but I like tanking so she is a tank). The only hard part in modern ret is to decide should you use damage boosts on 1 or 3 holy power. But i am sure some dps guide explains that too and there. Done. |

if doing high dps as fire is easy then doing it as arcane you doing something worng and every time i see a post were they say fire is good dps i always look for the part were it says that even whit 40% crit you can do and whole dc heroic boss whit no hotstreaks at all fire dps is luck based most of the times unless you lucky and crit like a mofo then fire is crap dps |
just curious....do you need it for your next bot program? kids and noobs prefer easy classes too |

Why is that funny? Perhaps he's just playing the class/spec he likes the most. Just because he's playing a simple class doesn't mean that he's playing it BECAUSE it's simple, which is what he's saying he hates.
Seals and ability priorities is what most rets fail at (and then there are the people who don't read tooltips at all and use dstorm on the wrong times), rest is rng. It's arguable whether it's "hard" or not, but you're right, it's not complicated. just curious....do you need it for your next bot program? Could be a troll trying to start a flamewar. |

Is no easier/harder really.
You react to what goes on, you change what you do constantly it`s kinda the idea. Yes some have "rotations" but they are`nt set in stone and some are proc based. Both require perception and a reaction to whats happening. Difficulty is just your perception play whatever the hell you find fun and make it work. |

There are other classes that do more dps with less effort. Like ? Do not tell me DK, or warrior or feral from melee. Combat rogue perhaps yes. You see at modern wow very few specs (but not classes, its limited to particular specs) are actually hard to get decent with. The other question is mastering it and mastering any class is harder than read on forums. That includes paladins too, of course. But I keep saying that majority of specs are easy to start off. And odd as it looks for you, I believe getting 25k+ dps on a 10 minute fight is easier as ret paladin, demonology warlock, shadow priest than it is arcane mage. The amount of buttons pressed playes absolutely no role on this, but there are classes where game high lights/lines cooldowns for you for the next cast, but on case of arcane mage you actually have to decide how to maintain burn and concerve to have that dps by end of fight. |

Really? So how many dots do a arcane mage have to worry about? And how many spells do you cast in your rotation? No, fire is definetly the harder class to play between those two

Arcane is the easiest spec in the game at present that I've played, and i have all bar warrior, what would you say are the hardest points of arcane O,o Forgetting to watch your mana bar and overdoing the 1 button spam? or resisting the urge to blow it all during conservation?
If you wanna go caster, and you want ease of play, arcane is your best choice, most are easy, but arcane is easiest. |
