I myself always liked the long range concept.

I rolled a hunter back in vanilla, and I have never gotten another class above lvl 20.
Got 2 hunter alt's.

same as op i rolled a hunter back in vanilla after i got bored with playing my shaman(he still stay at lvl60) i really like the idea of playing a class with a pet also i was very fond of dnd ranger class

Because theyre insanely easy to play, thats why i made this paladin also!

if you are talking about vanilla classes actually shaman was the only op class;alliance players were crying about shamans constantly i had rarely seen a horde player whining about paladins, making fun of them yes but whining NO.

I wanted to play a ranged character and im not that into casters, so i went with hunter.

This was my first toon :3 I like the range but find casters so squishy, and I like the PVP aspects of hunter. Plus: Challenge tames, Guns, Easy solos, epic DPS, and general all-round fun.

Help, I'm a hunter supremesist. No other class works for me D:

I rolled a druid and a hunter in Vanilla (game was 1 or 2 months out).

The druid became my flag runner among other things.

The hunter became my flag defender.
I specced Survival from the start, when it was a 'weird' specc. Why? Because I likely was the only hunter in the game trying to keep it's target (=the efc) CLOSE instead of far...

Hit and run style, close up trapping, running out fighting style.

When I did pve and eventually raiding, I stayed Survival for several reasons: raidbuffing (always one SV hunter), add or boss kiting, and whetever other special task I could do.
When i reached Mount Hyal at the time, no one kited those adds like a Survival hunter.

Pala during TBC was pretty much forced to play Holy as Rets damage was absurd so I made a range dps aka Hunter since it was fairly strong and I played it main during WOTLK whilst switching between my paladin as Ret then I made a Shadow Priest for a little get a away class but haven't put effort into it at all so hunter is forever my love <3

so i rolled a hunter

One of the two classes i didn't have at 85, dinged 85 yesterday. Will be rolling a warlock for this same reason.

I made a Hunter because I had been playing Warrior since vanilla and was pretty bored of the class, nothing really ever changed about it so I decided it was time for a class change. Wanted to reroll into a pure dps class. Ranged preferebly as that would be way diffrent than playing Warrior.
Around the middle of wotlk i rerolled Hunter as it seemed like the best choise for me as the Hunters in my guild at the time were all really bad and I tought to my self if I make a Hunter I can probably play better than thoes guys. And so I rerolled and outdps'd everyone. Showed them how the class is played and was very happy with my preformance, have been Hunter ever since!

i wanted a Pet.

Was applying as protection paladin and listed my hunter as one of the alts, they needed my hunter more for dragon soul, and here I am!

I don't regret going hunter, without a dubt the funniest class I've played.

Rolled this alt back in TBC, liked having a pet wich I could name compare to locks boring random names :P

and I love bows, so made one.

Battleground rapefest..

Danaik 3 Tripple D, a pvp movie on Warcraft Movies.

And just the general excelling at solo pvp and bg's. We just have tools for everything in open environments.
