I'm struggling with my rogue :(

Sup people, I haven't played wow for very long and i've made quite a few chars just ain't levelled them over 50 this is my first char i've levelled to 71, I PvP quite a lot and i'm struggling basically when i ambush people and get out of stealth that's it i'm instantly dead because i'm not sure what to do. I don't have any macro's for my rogue because i don't know how to do them very we'll and the only key binds i have is 1234567890-=, Hopefully you guys could give me some tips or help me out a little bit thanks no rude comments please, peace

Youre low level. Its normal that you die in seconds and its also normal that youre first target at low level as soon as you get out of stealth since you kill people with 1-2 hits at this level area. You could vanish if you need to get away quick. Or blind/gouge your enemy etc. Read your skills and learn how to use them. Read a guide for your spec. That should work in the beginning.
Also i would advise you to learn how to keybind. For example im actually never using my 5-0 since i got binded everything i need to 1-4 and q/e/t/r/f/g/c/v/x/y/s F1-F4 (aswell as mouse keys) with modifiers like shift/alt etc. Bind as much as you can to one hand without breaking your fingers. Trust me it will help you. |

First of all, throw some gems and enchants on your gear, it will help a bit. Don't forget about glyphs when 75 lvl will come.
Second - your hit rating is on terrible level of 2,2%, reforge all your haste to hit, get some gear with hit. You should have minimum 5% hit or you will miss your specials. I'm not so sure that this rule on your level is the same as on 85), but anyway - you need hit ratiing to have 0% chance of missing specials and as low as possible chance to miss spells (poisons). For sub pvp spec going with hit past 7% becomes pointless. Upgrade low level gear (lvl 45 ring lol), in this game gear makes huuuuuge difference. About your talents - get rid of initiative and nightstalker. Nightstalker is cool with increased speed in steatlh, but you will easily live without it, belive me. Initiative is absolutely not worth 2 points, even on 85 lvl. Remove 2 points form HAT, 1 will be enough to keep 5% crit. Saved 6 points put into Relentless Strikes and Energetic Recovery - then you will see the difference in your fights. About macros and keybindings - it is personal preference, but i don't use macros - they are too specialised and dont fit every situation. All my most important keys are bound in left part of keyboard: 123456, qwerty, asdfg, zxcvb - character is mouse driven (right hand) so such keybinding is most handy for me. Other keys or keys with modifiers (alt, shift) are for trinkets, potions or rarely used spells or spells with long cooldowns. You can try this, but as i said - this is very personal preference. |
I think you shouldn't bother enchanting or gemming your gear at that lvl.You'll get better gear while questing. So you're wasting your money on that. I suggest getting the lvl 70 pvp set for the resil. Then you're harder to kill and it's good enough until 79. At 79, grind bg's until like 4k HP so you can buy pvp gear at lvl 85 faster. |
