Are we still going to do the planned guild wars 2 same world for everyone here?
I just pre ordered it. Would be good to get a lot of RH people together and do WvWvW. |

Is this game going to be good? I don't know anything about it. Does it have good pvp stuff? Is it another pay monthly thing?
p.s. just looked at some clips on youtube, am I missing something... it looks terrible!? |

It's not pay monthly.
It has world pvp, with the actions of the pvp having an influence on the land around it. The PvP looks amazing and fluid.
Pre order was released today, you get into all the beta's from now on when you pre order. I'd say 4 months. |

September,or if they really want to release it before the summer then begin June. But i doubt that because the beta doesn't look near finished yet. Even didn't bring in 2 of the races and some of the WvWvW is not implented yet.

Im trying TERA, which is more akin to Aion than this though if it fails ill be back here ofc, then probably gona try GW2... out of boredom more than interest this time around If I am honest.Gw2 out of all the past 2 years big names has been kinda lower on my hype list.
And FYI it does not have wpvp, it has a glorified wintergrasp, thats another thing all together, could be fun but no wpvp. Like GW1, which I played before I even came to wow. Seems like years ago, oh wait it was. For the record- don't hold your breath on this one. Gameplay wise it has the most hype ever seen, only AoC garnered similar hype about gameplay and we all know how that went. I'd never reccomened it unless people were seriously bored and dying for an mmo like me. |

Hey Ahi, hope the move is going well for you all. I won't be subscribing when this week ends as it's not the same as before, it's far worse! I'll be back no doubt when the new stuff comes out to see what's what and see how long that lasts althought if Ravenholdt is empty as it seems then the new stuff won't really help that anyway!? I'll make a new character and join you all perhaps. We'll see. Take care. |

wpvp requires an open world.
GW2's idea of an instanced ''realm vs realm'' zone is not that. The area is simply an enlarged Wintergrasp. It will be the size of one of wows bigger zones ive heard but who cares. TOR already has that implemented to try say it has Wpvp now if you ask anyone that plays they will tell you it don't. Then again Harri Massive RPG Arenas were created by guild wars, you should fit right in as they do them about 500000x better than this ever could. But do not try to say this is some sort of savior to wpvp as you are wrong and calling BS or simply can't read. |

Behave. Are you still this angry? I've never called this or anything a savior to anything. From what I've seen, the WvWvW area has many objectives that require players to beat NPC's and attack npc settlements ala PvE questing and some PvE aspects of the game. The option to gank and interupt them is still there. |

no. I can bank people in star trek on a few zones sure its fun but thats not wpvp either. W stands for world as in a seemless massive group of zones. yer all bs harry Leave the game hopping disscussion to those that know |
Yes. Because the whole world would be tb, therefore all of the pvp would be tb, therefore it would be world pvp. This isn't hard to understand. But I can't be bothered for this. Enjoy whatever you play. I got a TERA beta invite this weekend, if you want it and I don't play it. |

Tides is empty, every1 left, cause as far as that break is concerned, apparently just you were up to date with that while the members that were left behind were stuck with a guild that no1 was able to do anything in... thanks for that. Whenever you decide to come back to the game, expect an empty guild, which is the result of poor decision making. |

I meant as in a PVE server, TB i presume makes you flagged and everywhere else no.
But who really cares, I'm talking to arena hero Harri who does not know the first thing about true WPVP as this really is the only mmo you have played seriously. |
Define it for me then. I think telling me what games I've played too is overstepping your boundaries, kidda. I also think taking pride in playing a game "seriously" is a bit much. Then again this thead doesn't interest you allegedly. |

Game is ace, I am definitely in for it, already pre-purchased anyway. I played nearly all the MMOs and never boasted about any of them but this is the one to boast about.
It would be cool if we all fought alongside each other for once and carry our realm up in the World vs. World ladder. WvW can actually be considered WPvP since there are many quests, events, assignments around and you actually bump to lots of enemies, unlike the current WPvP of WoW. Not to mention leveling from 1 to 80 there is a possibility. Anyways I don't have to say anything about the game, it will speak for itself soon enough. I might not be able to post again (since I am on 7-day scroll of resurrection timer) but I am reading occasionally so just name a realm, I will probably be there. |
If you have shalterus, grego or someone on skype then they're prolly playing with me / us. Regardless, I think you can freely move from worlds with SOME restrictions. |
