British Armed Forces - considering applicants

An old Guild with a proud history of being a friendly social home for many players for many Years, having been founded during the early days of Vanilla the Guild has had highs and lows, but now is back with a strong new approach and goal.

The Guild is and always will be primarily a social and fun Guild, and social spots within the Guild for a limited time are open, but there is going to now be a more serious handful of players within the Guild that will aim for PvE Raiding progression, we already have a very strong core team of players, but we are considering allowing a few more people to join our team, fun being our main goal we do have a serious approach to Raiding with this in mind our minimum requirements are as follows:

378+ item level.
The ability to pass a selection interview held by an Officer of the Guild in-game.
The ability to display basic character knowledge with Gems/Enchants and Spec.
Willing to install the few required addons the Guild requires, including software for comms.
BAF accept players of all nationalities but we do require our members to competently understand the English Language.
Raid 2 days a week, with flexibility to changing days. days will not often change but if and when they do we would require our Raiders to be flexible with this, with that being said we understand people have real life priorities and these will be taken into consideration above anything else.

All above requirements are subject to change.

if you meet these basic requirements leave a private message in-game to Organdonor and I will contact you and begin the initial application process, if accepted onto a Trial you will be given a Initial Selection Testing period were you will be monitored during raids to see if you are up to our Basic standards.

As stated above social spots are open to everyone for a limited time, so if you wish to join are Ranks as a social player please contact an Officer in-game.

Update!

Were looking for 1 averagely geared Tank to fill the role as OT, 1 active DPS with at-least 380+ item level gear and an active Healer with at-least 385+ item level gear, however we are not looking for any of them to be Death Knights or Paladins as we already have enough.

After our first week of Raiding we ended with 7/8 and getting extremely close to 8/8, Heroics are planned as soon as we finish of DW this coming week so to be part of it apply:

Hi Obsolus, we do have people currently serving within the British Armed Forces in our Guild, but the primary member base is not actual Members of BAF in reality.

1 of the co-founders of the Guild is a Corporal in Logistics, I've recently passed ADSC for a job within the Royal Signals, we have a fella in the Navy and there's a few more, but like I said not everyone in the Guild is part of BAF in reality. :)

When I saw this topic I thought it was an actual Military service recruitment thread :/
