Hi everyone,

After the release of cataclysm in which we have seen 2 new races able to play as Druids (Worgen and Troll) both of which, in my opinion, have very nice cat forms especially Worgens however as i don't play alliance i am left with either trolls or tauren. Overall i prefer tauren, not to mention the fact that i had a lvl 80 tauren druid before cata was released and so naturally am reluctant to either make a new char. or pay £15 for a race change and so i am stuck with my rather bland looking cat form, obviously it looks nicer than it did pre-cata, but still in comparison to the other cat forms it is by no means the nicest.

So i made this thread to see if anyone else agreed with me on this and because of the following:
a) any plans to re-texture it again with the release of MoP

or if not

b) see if we as a community can appeal for a nicer looking Tauren Cat form

I want that the gear will be visible on the cat and bear forms (idea from other thread). It will be so cool.

i guess that is similar to the Worgen Bear Form isn't it how they have the metal claw/glove things on their paws. could work :)

so... does anyone agree with me that Tauren Cat form is a bit bland? anything happening in MoP that will change their appearance or is it all just alterations in talent trees, etc.

Would be nice to get a blue post :)

i think everything in wow should be retextured for mop not just cat forms wow looks too old now good in the day but doesnt compare to swtor or guild wars 2 and the chuck noris advert looks terrible useing 7 year old in game models that would not make anybody imo buy the game and spend lots of money for it.

if anything i think the tauren cat form looks the best

I like traditional brown/tan cat form as tauren- blends me more into background in chaotic mass melee than sticky-out black cat

only thing i would like to see is the black form having same mane colour instead of making us look old

I don't see the problem with the cat form, especially for Taurens,

When I look at my Tauren cat form, it has that new Engine HD kinda look. And I like it, though an update would be nice, ( Just nothing that changes it too much )

well im not saying that this cat form isnt nice, it is a thousand times better than it was before cata, however if you look at it in comparison to troll, worgen or nelf cat forms i personally would rather have one of those than a tauren one just because it is too plain

yeah and maybe just some stripes (like the troll cat forms) or just a nicer fur color?

Tauren cat forms look like Tauren cat forms, there is no way to improve them. They are exactly what they should be! A lot of us prefer them to all the other races versions.

it has been said that that can happen with "incarnation" just wait and see what will happen with beta
