LFR Abuse.

Ok, So I've just ran LFR and won Gurthalak. This was my 13th (lucky for some I guess) run trying for it. The problem is as soon as I won it the whispers began.
Apparently around 10 Palas/DK's/Warriors were running it to try and win the sword for a guildie. As well as a few other people who wanted it. Basically it went like this. First whisper was give me the sword, you dont need it (which I did). Then there was people threatening to report me for being a Ninja and switching weapons to make it look like I needed it. (i didnt understand this one) then there was about 3 people constantly opening trade windows to me shouting "Gief me the sword you !@#$ing nub". I obviously left then. But it continued. Nobody in the run was from my server, which is a pretty dead server anyway, but obviously a couple of these idiots from LFR had seen it. So I get back to Orgrimmar, and about ten minutes later 3 level 1 orcs start whispering my guildies telling them im a ninja and whispering myself saying I dont deserve that sword. I logged off. I understand why people might be annoyed if they have ran the LFR as much as I have and lost the roll. What I dont understand is people who believe they deserve it because they have a large guild willing to help them. I dont understand why people would then go to such effort because they had lost the roll, to follow them about. I'm presuming they were just children because I have faith in maturity. I now need nothing else from LFR and wont run it again, not because of this, but because of each and every time I do run it, I see people like this, who when they lose a roll, Will call for the person who won to be kicked or start crying in Raid chat. next time take some screen shoots and report the pll and then post the screen shots on a site like mmo champion

Loot won shouldn't be trade-able, also, you should not be allowed roll need if you already have an item.
Plenty of guilds exploiting the LFR looting system to trade loot among friends, guild mates and in some cases even to sell for gold between people on their own server in the same LFR. The system is wide open to exploitation and unfortunately that's what happens and will continue to happen until Blizzard take action and remove the exploitable nature. No point waiting until MOP for changes that could easily be implemented by Blizzard now. |

Loot sword. Leave.This. I picked up Eye of Unmaking and Girth from the same LFR. I felt it was prudent to leave immediately afterwards. |

Heh, I got the Tier legs I am wearing now from LFR, and left afterwards as they were all I needed from the place, and I noticed a druid had whispered me '?' just before I left.
So I shrug that off and replace the Heroic T12 legs I had so I could get 4-Pc T13 and go to begin some archaeology. Soon I am being whispered by some random level 1 in Elwynn Forest. 'Why did you take legs you don't need if you already had heroic?' 'I do need them as I need T-13 4-pc I was using T-12' 'Oh...' Some people don't even know what they are doing and all they can see is MY PURPLE PIXELS EVERYWHERE - DON'T YOU DARE NEED ON MY ITEM. Damn it's a game, step back, breath. |

I would have mocked them into the ground. Foolish people. Even if you did already have the item, it doesn't matter. The dice lit up so you can roll, end of story. The way you chose to handle your rolls comes down to your own morals... but it's your choice to make even if you are rolling on duplicates. This one actually amuses me... On Tuesday I went to a real life friends house, where he had just finished running his mum through LFR for her first time. They had literally just killed deathwing when I arrived, and they had just started rolling on loot. His mum, a hunter, was happy enough just to have finished her first "raid" and to have nice a new achievement. The gear she was rolling on however (bow and polearm) would have been a massive upgrade. Not everyone had finished rolling and already the whispers started... one of them, and angry little druid said "WTF YOU HAVE THE POLEARM" and "WHY DID YOU UNEQUIP F******* GREEDY NOOB"... and I'm sure you can imagine the rest. Bear in mind that he was talking to a 60+ year old lady, a 3 times grandmother. Her first time in LFR and she encounters this crap... all caps rage, personal insults and putting doubts on the fact that she should have even pressed need. She actually felt guilty and even asked if she should give it to him if she won. She really didn't know how to handle it, so I sat at her computer and dealt with it for her.
