keep coming into the battllounds, i love doing 45k ambushes during shadowdance on pve players.

but on a serious note, this achie should just be removed from the meta, the wsg, ab is easily doable, but i can see how pve players struggle with alterac valley and eye of the storm achie.

i hate pvp, i have always hated pvp, i dont do pvp but after spending years working my way to get my proto drake i am finally stuck on the school of hard knocks achie... i have attempted to do it but i have now had to resign myself to never getting my drake because of this stupid achie.. blizzard, im not a newbie, im a long term customer and im not a happy bunny. i really thought that after a couple of years the complaints to you in regard to the school of hard knocks achie would have given you the idea that ppl are not happy... the pvpers are not happy cos pve'ers wreck their battles, pve'ers dont stand a chance to get their drake... come on blizz get rid of this stupid required achie plz

Make a premade grp and do it in turns

I really dislike this achievement and hate pvp, I wont be completing it out of principle. This is sad because all i need for what a long strange trip is children's week and merrymaker.

I would like to see this achievement changed from requiring very specific actions like capping a dropped flag or asulting a tower to something simpler and not encouraging selfish behavior like simply winning the respective battle grounds.

In short i agree with 90% of the player base that this achievement needs removing/reworking.

Love how the "pro" PvPers in the thread are saying stop being bad. Seems to PvP you can't read any longer. It's not about being "bad". It's about latency. Bad latency = one long wait and hope and a prayer you get to click first. Nothing with being "bad" about that.

av is a god damn nightmare for me, my comp is a hand me down from fred flinstone so by the time i get to the towers they're already capped :P

SO HARDCOREno really you guys have zero skill to think you have any vs PvE during this rubbish world event.

You can't really defend the achievement from a PvP point of view, it promotes counter-intuitive behavior in AB and EoTS.

Well. Less counter-intuitive than fighting in the middle, but still.

BS excuses? I got my achieve, twice. Everything BUT AV is not too bad. AB CAN be, and WSG is a real pita if you have no sense of teamwork, but AV is a different can of worms. First time it took me 2 days of non-stop farming AV to get a tower to assault. It REALLY has nothing to do with skill. If you think otherwise, you're deluded. You have to hope you mount up AT the same time as everyone else at the beginning, or within microseconds of it, and you have to hope that you make it up some stairs or whatever before someone else does, and CLICK before they do. IF you make it at the same time and your latency is crap, you're SOL. Tell me, what skill is involved in that? None, zip, zilch, and nada.

BOTH times, there was some nice soul on the Horde helping the alliance with it. And vice versa. For those that are out there HELPING others, even tho they are of the opposite faction, kudos, you're a blessed soul. For those out there for easy kills on PvE geared players, whatever floats your boat.

got mine in first AV i did. some friendly hordes recapped towers and let the alliance take it, hats of to them.

Well I've spent 2 years being PWNed in PvP trying to get it... It is literally driving me insane... You could atleast make it optional... Thou why am I trying, nobody cares if I get it or not, people care about nothing else than that they get their HP... oh and they also care about picking me out and ignoring everyone else because the know I'm trying to get this achi...

you must misunderstood something, me and Asmobot didnt say that those who whine suck at pvp, we said bad at this game, why? well you explained it yourself it require next to no skill and no gear to return a flag in wsg which is the majority of the players here trying to make it sounds like RNG based or require alot of pvp gear and you still whine at such an easy achi when other achievements are 100 times more annoying?

And how many times does it take to get explained to you to understand that the frustration lies not within the fact that one must "PvP" but that if your connection is crap, that this becomes a long grindfest with no hope except that you get lucky that there's a nice person on the other side.

It's the same crap as the easter event. Connection sucks? Sucks to be you.

And Ronun, you're right, it's not Blizz's fault, but they can easily change the achievement to require something other than a good connection, which has nothing to do with will to grind or skill, but who your ISP is and where you live.

Third year on the trot I won't be getting the drake solely because of this achieve.
It serves no purpose other than to force the section of the playerbase that hates pvp to participate in it, and to royally p*ss off the section that do enjoy pvp by having their matches ruined by ppl trying for the achieve.
For example, just spent an entire warsong gulch with 8/10 players camping the flagroom with orphans. Score at end, 0 captures. Happened again last year, and the one before.
Ppl aren't complaining for the sake of it Blizz. PLEASE remove this sh*t from the Children's Week achieve.
