He lifted his head and looked outwards from his pack's lair, noticing several lights flickering in the distance and the occasional shouts. A smirk appears on the alpha's face, almost a human smile yet distorted on the face that was the beast. A loud howl fills the air with an eerie feeling, the alpha's howl is the loudest of them all. One by one the other members of the pack came out from the shadows of the trees and stones, appearing behind the alpha, growling and snarling in anticipation of the night's hunt. Tonight they'll taste flesh and meat of a different sorts...the kind only the two-legged people have..."

Hey folks!
As you can see, i'm creating a feral worgen pack that is, unlike most other "feral worgen" guilds i've seen, is quite vicious and wild. This pack are worgens that have not gained their sanity and is rather controlled by the beast within, under the leadership of an alpha male as it should be. We're currently "working" in the outskirts of Gilneas and even the rooftops of Gilneas City, jumping down on unsuspecting prey! Seeing as we're ferals, we don't actually speak, but more kind of like growls and snarls, using emotes rather to communicate, acting with the behaviour of a real (more or less) wolf pack.

We do not intend to OP our pack, fel i might even say that we'll get killed more times than not, with us playing the "Random Feral Worgen". We're open for suggestions for RP within Gilneas atleast, so if you're travelling there and want your group to have a "random encounter" then don't hesitate to ask! We've already had a couple of run-ins with some people and they found the experience quite "lovely" *evil grin*.

The ranking system is quite simple:
- Alpha Male --> the leader of the pack (obviously)
- Alpha Female --> the consort of the leader
- Stalkers --> elites of the pack
- Wolf --> regular packmember
- Pup --> New members, which will be promoted to wolf after a short evaluation

Our Rp is, as stated earlier, a pack RP. Everything we do is for the pack, there's nothing but the pack and it's existance, everyone else is an enemy or prey. We hunt for prey together, when you see one of us then you can be sure that there are several more in hiding! The pack follows the command of the Alpha leader, entrusting their safety and survival to him, looking at him for wisdom and leadership. If he's no longer able to do that, then he'll be tore down and replaced with one who is able.

We will attempt to create events where we will clash with other players, maybe even stealing supplies of some kind. Most of our rp will depend on other players, so we will talk to people OOC'ly to agree on time and date and how we are going forward with this!

We're aiming for Casual RP and nothing too fancy, unless there are requests for different kind of RP. I hope people will take contact, either In-game or here, for requests for RP or questions about the guild.

I'm biased against pack RP. I don't like alpha/beta RP, nor do I like seeing 'the consort of the leader', as it implies things.
I'm tired of seeing worgen in Gilneas City, pretending it's not a war zone.

My opinion is that this is not a good idea, because it's been done to death and doing so again will not add to role-play in Gilneas.
The only thing constructive I can say is that. Not to do it.

Your first post is well structured and worded, which turned my view on Pack RP a little. It's generally seen as... 'done to death' and mainly bad and cringe worthy. But your post inspired a little faith in that side of RP. So good luck.

So because the theme has been done so much it forbids the rest of trying out how they would operate such a guild? We do not agree with the current "feral" packs and therefore we are creating our own guild with our own way of RPing feral worgens, hopefully it'll be met more openly and people giving it a chance before condemming it because of it's theme, I can think of several other guild themes that have been "done to death", though that doesn't label them bad.

I wish you the best of luck with this. Whilst I'm well aware that there's a terrible reputation surrounding feral worgen role-play, I do believe it can be pulled off well. I can only hope you're the ones to do it! Should it go well, I've a character in mind who might prove to be a thorn in your side if you're eager for a stubborn and persistent opponent.
