Hello everyone,

I've got a problem concerning a faction change. I recently faction changed my Dwarf shaman to a orc shaman. But now it seems this character is again flagged for a faction change. But I haven't payed for this second faction change and I have no interest in changing back. So is it possible for me to remove this faction change icon?

I already made a ticket about it but perhaps someone knows how to remove it yourself.

Regarding your particular issue, I’m afraid that’s a known issue at the moment (no, you won’t get charged thankfully), and one that’ll require direct assistance from our Account and Payment team to resolve.

If you haven’t already done so, I’d recommend getting in touch as soon as possible, preferably by phone if you’re able as that’ll be the fastest way to get things sorted. :)

But Like I said, I already created a ticket with the issue.

I just want to know if it is possible to remove the icon myself,
or if there is another way to remove it as soon as possible.

Thanks again for the fast reply Allanonn, :)

But the other person with the same issue as me already used the icon.
So he already got rid of the icon and asked if he would be charged for it.

So my question still remains,
if it would be possible to remove the icon yourself without using it.

It would be much quicker to phone - 40 minutes/1 hour as opposed to several days for a ticket.
If there's no phone number for your country, you can skype the UK number free of charge.

Unfortunately my english skills aren't that great...
I already had some confusing conversations with them on the phone in the past. ^^'

Guess I'll just wait these couple of days for a reply on my ticket.

Greetings Anego,

I’m sorry to say that, as you can see from some of the responses by our helpful regulars, there really isn’t any way around the situation without direct support intervention (and that includes cases in which players have made use of the option to Faction Change multiple times, as the icon will keep on returning regardless… did someone mention persistence above?! ^.^).

Hopefully you’re aware that you should hopefully still be able to continue using the character in the meantime though and, once your ticket reaches the top of the queue, we’ll be able to try out some of our workarounds for the issue. :)

Hello;

I have had this issue for two weeks now, and with several Customer Support Tickets sent and been answered; I am still no further forward.

The last response I recieved said that any workarounds they tried were not resolving the issue and that I should just keep an eye on the Forums for updates on this matter.... my patience is depleting each day.

I was planning to server transfer those toons I factioned changed, and right now I feel I have spent £40 to have those toons sit on a server which I dont play on anymore; except now they are on the opposite faction instead.... sigh.

Is there any E.T.A on this issue getting resolved?

just hope some night when im drunk i dont decide to faction change my char then -.- would b annoying to think that i would have to pay £20 to faction change again

I'm sorry to hear you both got the same problem as me.
Hopefully they will fix this issue as soon as possible.

I just find it strange that this bug is currently happening to a lot of people.
Since I never had any problems in de past with the faction change service.

But if I acquire more knowledge of this issue I'll be sure to post it here. ;)

My ticket got answered swiftly and friendly.
It seems I got 2 options now to get rid of that "persistent" icon. :P

Simply wait for the bug to be fixed, which they are working on.

Or use the icon once and send them some account information,
and they will flag my character again for a faction change.

I will try out the second option tonight after work.
I'll be sure to post again and let you guys know if it worked yes or no. ;)
