Honestly - everyone knows that RP has somewhat diminished over time, but there's still plenty. To those who keep saying RP is dead, look at the forums (though I suppose if they don't, then this topic has no real point >_>), sign up for events, look for a guild. I've had more fun in RP on WoW recently than I've had in a long time.

And of course, a big thank you to everyone creating these events. :)

I was hoping you'd post a screenie of last nights event in Duskwood, there were a fair few of us there. :)

RP isn't dead, there's just less random RP to be found around the most common places, like Old Town.

RP has only become more tight-knit, which should only be positive. Imo.

RP isn't dead but it's not as "out there" as it used to be. That isn't just this server but almost every server.

Old "established" guilds have simply passed on (On SwC, and other place) and the new guilds that have cropped up simply haven't drawn the eye as quickly as the older guilds did. Not really anyones fault, just the way things go.

The greatest guilds I ever knew during my time RPing (Here, and on DmF) are now long dead and I sorely miss them whenever I have the bug to RP, but then again in one night I quickly came up with a backstory for Baelinor and had a bunch of random RP outside of being in a guild which was awesome.

I don't actively look for RP anymore, but when I do it is on the Alliance side, which is sad. Just the way things are, however.

Why does "RP is dead" remind me of Nietzche?! Curse you Aylian!!!!

Roleplay itself may not be dead, but I've seen too much bubbled guild RP, Stormwind Pig and Whiste (nuff said) RP, the drama that I've seen on this server over the years... I'll bring a torch if you bring the pitchfork.

Although, credit where it's due, your contribution to Roleplay is invaluable. You're a hero. And that is why you must leave.

EDIT: I'm sorry if the above (^) seems a bit cynical, but it comes from jaded experience. If you find RP to be as fantastic as ever, more power to you.
