Wow Ikkitousen those are some great points you make.
Say you entered a battleground with 15 enemy players and finished the battleground...congratulations, that could be almost half of the new PvP content explored. I'd have to disagree with you though on the pvp front, i believe the longevity of how new everything feels will last. Blizzard are obviously reaching out to the younger/female audience I also think the Pandaren are a little childish, but i think people will roll them judging by the racials. No matter how silly they are. Seriously, WoW is slowly dying, and adding some stupid Pokémon stuff isn't going to change that. You seem a tad upset the game is "dying". Let me tell you the game is far from dead even if it feels a little empty sometimes. The pokemon feature is something i will place some of my spare time into as i grew up with it. I think others will too. Ikkitousen i want to thank you for your really constructive post. The paragraphs helped ALOT. -King Baroque III |

As apposed to now there is a massive choice? Talents are boring now, and there is very little choice when it comes to talents. I could easily find you 50 Holy Paladins with the same talent tree that I use, just as I could easily find 50 Ret Paladins with the same talent tree that my off-spec uses. We don't have choices now, we use the build that is best for us for X fight and often that is the same build everyone else uses. In MoP the builds are a little more meaningful. Do I want 70% movement speed on a 1 minute CD or do I want 45% tied with my judgement? That is going to depend on me rather than what some theorycrafter says. Sure there are going to be many cases where X talent is obviously the most ideal for X fight, but there is actually more choice in the MoP talents than there is currently.
I agree Pandaren are very childish. Brb I have to heal looking for raid on my Tauren Priest. Seriously? I see this argument loads, yet come on actually take a look at the other races. We have gnomes. We have walking cows. We have wearwolfs and goblins. Panderen are no more childish than the other races we have within WoW. |

Some fair points. Truth be told, I couldn't care about the changes to WoW, it's just something I do in my spare time. Right now, I'm absolutely baked, and I couldn't care about anything but eating this Nutella on toast. God damn, I love Nutella. Anyway, I'll keep the peace.
It's true, there is a lack of difference in talents momentarily, but my point was reducing talents doesn't help that. I used to PvP in Wotlk all the time, much more often than I play now, and it honestly never got boring...but in Cataclysm, it gets boring easily, at least for me. As Shadow in Wotlk, I had to move continuously and use more than three times as many spells than I do now. All I have to do momentarily is PW:Shield, Mind Spike/Mind Blast, and the occasional CC. Spamming Mind Spike does twice the damage, twice as fast compared to DOT's/Mind Flay. (Anyone who played a Shadow Priest in Wotlk knows what I mean). I guess the only thing that frustrates me is Blizzard would rather add Pokémon or Asian themed panda's rather than upgrading PvP or talents or anything. I could say Blizzard haven't even played WoW, they just think "We'll add some random stuff and make all our subscribers pay for another expansion" but meh, I can't change that. Peace. |
