Bonus Mission for Week 4: Pugman’s Pugilistic Pub-crawl

Some of the DST prefer freeform RPPvP, some prefer structured rules - and I suspect that may be the "trouble," here, in that it is often perhaps a player-by-player preference, rather than a guild-by-guild preference.
Post Script: post #24 is high up the page, but for those who have not read it before the thread moved on, please do. Waywatcher [when he gets a chance], and various players of Horde characters particularly. |

I was considering joining, but thenrestricted RP-PvP setup Naypalm and the crew will be there just for you, don't you worry. |
|
|
Oh, I see. Did you send them?
|
|
|
I didn't. You can get in touch with them if you want some action, they seemed bored as well.

Fun for an hour or so, then it gets a bit stale.

I addressed the prison camp thing elsewhere - and like I said there, I'll chalk it up to learning experience and playtesting if you will. The mechanics here look explicit, and 5 chars max means I don't have to bug my hardcore raiders for it, so Thursday evening shouldn't be a problem. We don't especially like downgearing -- we do like roleplay, and RPwise raiding a whisky shipment is much more our speed than the Durnholde job was (our characters were, lets say, kinda dumbstruck that the entire Thalassian warhost who were actually suited to the job showed up to help just after the prisoners had been sprung). Basically: we'll downgear for the cause of good RP, just like we kit up for good RP. But if you prefer to have other groups, we'll defer, and get back to figuring out how we could sneak some undead herrings into Amarae's armour when next we meet. Just to show her we care. |

Indeed. Let's see how much interest this raises. If the Horde side has room after a few days, let's get back to it. If not, I would indeed rather take guilds and people who are more comfortable with restricted RP-PvP. |
Can't find Zohk in Armory or in AA - and you have a character in an unit that might participate already. So this is a strong "maybe" at best. If there's room, sure. Otherwise, others are booking spots past you. |

Apologies!
That's because I'm an eejit and mis-spelled the name. Baladan has said, as the Talons are heading the opposite direction, we'll have no interest as a guild in attending the event, but it looks like such fun that I'd love to come along on this fellow! (who's level 74 now!) |

Sounds sensible. A few of my guys do literally live in terror of downgearing (they're just that burned by it always ending in drama), but 5 isn't a hard number. Preferences aside, most of us will play tic-tac-toe if it gets us RP. |
In that case, I can't see why not. Consider yourself added! |
|
I'm withdrawing my name from this unfortunately. It sounds like a lot of fun, but I just can't guarantee I'll be able to be online at that time.
I did get warm feelings from the mission title, as Bugman's Dwarf Rangers were the very first Regiment of Renown I owned. |

Can I join Pugman's group? I have a Brewfest Kodo.

Bump for absolutely refusing to believe we're the only unit with enough sense of humor to have an interest.

As it seems there are few Horde guilds willing to -steal magical booze from the Alliance- (?!), I would like to sign up The Ashen Company to take part. I am -not- losing this war because their side was more hammered than the other.
|
Sure thing. You'd be our third teamster, then!
Very well! Inform me as soon as you can who would be the five characters that take part! |

...although as reasons to lose wars go, I think this one would be pretty damn awesome! :D |
