If anyone can test this:
Currently as far as I know, the 5 min cd is refreshed with Call of the Elements talent and it's for all shamans, not just for one spec.
So, basically if one 25 raid has one of each spec, you could do a full 1 min of Stormlash, right? It doesn't have a debuff like Sated or..?

Call of the Elements will btw either not make it to live, or be restricted to 60s or less CD totems or so.

Just a guess. Based on me having 2 MTT, HTT, SLT and Stormlash right now. There's no way I'd ever even remotely consider not taking CotE. Except maybe if they make Heroism and Manaregen (as a concept) the alternatives, and even then it'd be a doubtful thing. CotE is insanely strong. :S

Well, from my experimenting it doesn't leave a debuff-effect like BL does :) and CotE has worked on my Beta Shaman for it so yeah :p

Is the totem still 10 seconds? I'd personally *like* it if it were a little longer.. like 20 seconds for half the damage or such. I know it sounds silly but I just don't like how short it feels compared to the GCD even if the damage is the same.

Was really surprised to see Call of the elements. I always thought Preparation and its like should be completely removed, as it sort of hurts the classes that have it. Who wants to be balanced around a 8+ min CD :P

Mmm yeah I'm not entirely happy with the fact that we'll have to be balanced around having that CD, but on the other hand I'm happy to be seeing the fact we get lots of cooldowns after going for quite a long time with mostly mediocre ones. Ups and downs, I think I'll be happy either way.

As far as I'm aware, that is when i was last on beta, call of the elements refresh ability does not effect totems of 5 min cd or above only those under the 5 minute threshold. therefore it does not refresh elemental totems, stormlash totem or any at 5 minutes or above cool down.

Now while it does not have a debuff like heroism in a raid especially a 10 man stacking shamans is unwise in our current state at the least while there are significant changes in mop, I would say its still going to be unwise to stack some classes, shamans being one of them.

Call of the elemental is huge cool down for restoration, 3, mana tides in a 6/7 min fightsame with healing tide totem which i believe is a shaman tranq.

I can confirm that it resets the cooldown on Stormlash Totem but not the elementals.

Also, fun fact, Ascendance resets the cooldown on Stormstrike when popped.

ShhhHHHHH! This is the only type of shaman info the devs are interested in, no fixes to broken stuff unless the broken stuff benefits us.
