MM hunter, need dps help!

Hey, i've had my hunter at lvl 85 for a while now and I just can't seem to get my dps above 9k (i'm aware that is pitiful). I'm effectively a noob at this as this is my first char and i lvled up fast with RAF. I've been looking through forums and websites etc. for the correct rotation and talents to use and have followed all advice to no avail. Can anybody please suggest what the problem could be?

no enchants
no glyphs strength bow for warriors gems are a bit all over the place got a few pvp pieces not good for pve if your looking for more dps under hit capped your chest is leather so you missing out on 5% agility increase =/!!!! not sure about your spec because ive never played MM in pve and this is just a alt of mine, sorry to be brief wanted to point out some of the problems you have before my dungeon queue popped up lol suggest you read up on www.noxxic.com about hunters in pve oh and if your a clicker (not sure if you are) then you wont be able to pull as much dps as a keybinder theres also a keybinding guide on noxxic hope i helped a bit :) |

Thank you! That website is very useful. And yes, i am a clicker but my laptop means I don't get on with key binding :( haha

If he/she isn't looking to raid, there is no need to be in SV. Though SV is the easyer spec of the two. |

I'm a clicker myself, and had a hard time coping with the MM spec due to the prioritysystem, I think MM is the most complex of the three specs. Fast decisions don't go well, when having to find the buttons you have to click. So I did around 7-8K dps in heroics...not fun at all :( I respecced to BM, and doubled my dps :) I beileve BM it's the most forgiving tree if your a casual player like me. Second: MACROS! They're REALLY helpful to us clickers, since clicking cannot replace the mashing of buttons :) Good luck, happy hunting! |
