Hostility? Should I transfer here?

Dieven, please, let it go for once -_-

Indeed I do understand that! - Just that the Alliance side is exacly like what they are on the forums - Which is why i was wondering if the same situation could be on the Horde. There are plenty of decent folk about, finding them is the bother, and as Ursala (Who is one of those decent people) was saying jump into rollinghillsooc and have a chat. |

The Alliance is not represented by what happens on these forums.
I sure as hell refuse to be represented by the childish banter here. |

DIEVEN Please just let it go... stop derailing _OTHER_ threads with it. -- Sorry for not contributing Alapan anymore then... well this. All I can say is make an alt and join in :-} |

Aye please do come to the Horde, head on over as Ursy said join RollingHillsOOC get a foot in the door here and don't mind the fair few that seem to lash out on the furoms. Because from what i've read, it just seems to be that same few, I'm sure Thodrash will give you some reception of 'warmth'.

I'd say Horde Side is far from lost, and currently doing quite well.
The realm events that take place are often fun, and well attended. There's also a nice variety of RP guilds available to join. So, yes. Its worth a try. |

Indeed - try the red side out. I have been really surprised the sudden outpouring of drama on this forum. It is totally unrepresentative of the experience I have had on the Horde side. I am just starting off my Alliance characters and really hope that it is as peaceful and welcoming as the Horde side has been.

So Alapan now that we know that you are against arguments and you never start them. You really shouldnt judge realm by its forum, since people dont usualy tend to praise things in forums. Only complaints get most voice in the forums but thats just because others are too busy having fun and actualy RPing. ^^

I'd say Horde Side is far from lost, and currently doing quite well. Good to hear! - I'll be making a Horde char today and play it for the next 2 - 3 days and just gain a view of the realm before i transfer my orc warrior.
We have all been arguin' at some point, I am not claiming myself to be better than any of the arguin people here on the forums - But the way i saw our discussion(If I can use that as an example) was a healthy debate with critisism and sharing different point of views! Which is what the forums is for - Leave your views, constructive critisism and so on - Convince not force rather said. Shall use a quote i left on your thread "Now you are the guild master so of course it is up to you - I should not given any influence as I am not even a member, I am merely pointing out my concern" - Okay I maybe didn't say it like that but that is what i meant :P Anyway I just find it difficult to see what tensions and hate between two people is doin here on the forums? |

Alapan, you spend way too much in the forums. Go out there and RP already xD

What they're doing is staining our beautiful forum. =P |

I would also chip in with the allaince aren't represented by our minority on the forums, heck I can honestly say I'm more of a (such and such) on the forums than in game.
But on the other hand, from popping back on alts and trying it out on both sides, I would recommend making a new char here on the horde side, a transfer on the other hand may leave you slightly worse off as it actually costs money, the rp was good when I found it, but I missed the pvp aspects to much to come back here in full. |

Are the forums even that bad? I've seen worse.
I think we all just like to press the panic button and have an episode over something that, when put in perspective, is a non-issue. THE ALLIANCE ISN'T THAT BAD! HORDE INVADERS MUST DIE! |

I'm not going to try say anything about coming back to the Sha'tar with your Horde characters or whatever but I don't really see a reason in the above quote. (Again it's all your choice. :)! ) I've been on AD for a short time now and I've made quite a few nice new friends and haven't had trouble with unfriendly people, any server is bound to have such people and I suppose you just got unlucky. Our experiences on AD Horde must be quite different but I don't believe the above quote for a minute! Anyways, happy travels and be sure to pack yourself a Coors Light. EDIT!: Oh! If you are going to play Horde on Sha'tar then I highly reccomend The Thousand Eyes, great bunch of people. :) |

I read the forums, used to post a lot more than I do now.
But Alapan, please heed my words. The people on the forums do not represent the realm as a whole, I highly recommend rolling an alt here and trying it out for yourself rather than paying attention to the childish mud-slinging that happens on this forum (well actually on any forum, but that's the internet eh?). I shouldn't have to but on behalf of those who love our realm I apologise for the derailment of your thread. As for those arguing, I hope you realise what kind of light you are showing our realm in now with your petty and unnecessary arguments. It's clearly a personal enmity between two, take it to /w, e-mail or just agree to disagree, please just stop with the drama threads. |
|
Just another bump here. If you are coming back to this realm Alapan then there is probably no better choice than horde if you are looking for a stable, mature and friendly environment however there are potentially going to be a lot of interesting new innovations and events over on the Alliance side of the fence. We're currently interested in instigating some crossfaction RP that will bring both side together on and off the forums.
