Although only present at this meeting in an observer role, The Silver Covenant maintains that full rapprochment between the Quel'dorei and the Theron regime in Silvermoon will only be possible when the Blood Knights are disbanded and every member of the Office of Allegiance faces trial for their crimes.
(I couldn't understand a word, but even to me the tension at this meeting was palpable, and the Highvale Union really look the part!) |

I was hoping you'd have a translator, Redbranch, or that we'd have to use clever realID skills (a conversation) to include you! Ah well, there's always next time.

Redbranch's presence was a somewhat unexpected one, but I contacted him on my alt Thediplomat about his guild and found that for now at least, he did not have Battle.net ID available to him, so a two-way conversation would have proven quite difficult without someone present with two WoW accounts :P I'm sure we can better prepare for the future however! |

Just a quick early afternoon bump. We're still recruiting and this thread stands as a more than pleasing testament to the good progress and indeed, quality of our RP thus far, and needless to say that we're more than glad that our concept is approved of among our own members and the wider RP community!
Currently we have a few more potential guild alliances/unions on the table, and we certainly look forward to seeing whether that's possible through the RP, so if you have any questions or queries of the guild or what we do, don't hesitate to contact me in-game :) |

Hey guys, just thought I would bump the thread. Firstly I thought I would apologise to those who took part in the guild for its relative inactivity lately. Real life commitments have really tied us down more than we thought it would when we made this guild; we are moving house on the 1st of June and have had a lot of organising to do for that. On top of that we have also been sorting out thing such as our university applications, packing away furniture/clothing etcetera, which has consumed much of what little free time we have beyond work.
With that being said, the guild will be for all intents and purposes inactive for the foreseeable future, and if it comes to pass that our leisure time remains as strained as it has been over this past short while, the guild might be moved away nearer to MoP, potentially with a different focus; one more rigid in its time frames than RP (Such as PvE/PvP which can generally be timed and/or estimated, whilst Roleplaying realistically can take 5 minutes or 5 hours, depending on what is occurring, and it would not be fair for myself or Naruvir to be going back and forth due to us being unable to give our full attention to the RP at hand due to the aforementioned commitments.) We have enjoyed our time with those who expressed an interest in the guild, and wish you all the best in the future. |

Whether approximate 3 month thread resurrections are permitted or not i'm unsure, but I just thought I would post an update as to the state/nature of The Highvale Union after this period wherein we were for all intents and purposes inactive. It it probably best that I direct people to our Argent Archives page (Simply search 'The Highvale Union' in the search bar and you should find us), but to give a brief taste of what has happened i'll post a few key snippets of the changes made to the guild;
" With recent changes having been made in order to accomodate the needs and time constraints of both ourselves and others, we would now brand ourselves a low-key, casual and mature roleplaying guild. It is our expectation and desire to maintain a mature and relaxed atmosphere Out-of-Character, and that is something we wish to reflect in our roleplay to provide a warm and welcoming experience to those of our members who simply want to enjoy a quiet evening of story telling and repose." "It is our revised wish to establish ourselves as a small, but relaxed and good quality example of High Elven RP on Argent Dawn" Our ultimate intention would be to have a very small, close-knit guild and with that in mind I am happy to speak with those who may share an interest, but for now it is safe to assume that there will likely be a Member limit set upon the guild in due course. Until such times arise however, feel free to throw me a whisper on Denelas at any time and i'll be happy to speak and develop a rapport :) |
