Quick question

Hello, was just wondering whether pain suppression, the dome thingy that reduces damage by 25% and my resilience all stack? So if I was to pop the 2 spells at the same time I would have roughly 105% damage reduction?

I believe when you cast PS on yourself you take 40% less damage of what you already take, not what you would be taking if you had zero resilience. So you get a 50k hit, 40% of it is negated by resilience which makes it a 30k hit, and if you use PS it calculates further damage reduction as reducing the 30k hit by 40%, rather than the original 50k. That's what I think, since 105% damage reduction doesn't make sense.

Yeah it's what Нишапур said, the resilience is a base reduction then the Pain Suppression & Barrier is active reductions, reducing the damage that has already been reduced by base reductions

Yeh they are right so lkets say you take 100 damage
Resiliance takes 40% so that to 60 barrier take 25% so that 25% of 60 so damage is now 45 Pain sup take 40% so 40% of 45 damage is now 27 |

plus its never a good idea to blow both defensive cds at once - yea youll survive but youll get switched too as soon as sup wears off
