Greetings from TVC.
Our server was one of the well-known in the past RPPvP servers and has a rich RP history, though, thanks to many open migrations, we lost many players and for a long time we were dragged behind...

Though, after darkness of night it always comes bright morning. We, one of the supporters of active WorldPvP and WorldRP, are looking for new members, who would like to join our RP community and to rich our RP world (no matter if you join our guild, or some other - we just want to have more people to have fun with).

Many will ask - what is the idea to move to realm, where RP community is not that large, as it is on other RP realms? Let me answer so - here you can create! No limits for your fantasy, nothing stops you, you have large opportunities.

well the problem with rppvp is that....nobody likes pvp servers because of the fear of them being griefed (camped upon,ganked etc) and well..that's just me saying but it's rather common,i mean i want to lvl in peace without looking over my shoulder looking if there is a random warrior,hunter or rogue walking next to me waiting to murder me

so apologies but i don't wish to come to your server

edit: even if it's rp it still has pvp,therefore if you are going out somewhere as a low lvl or not having any pvp gear/good general gear,you will most likely be camped to end's meet

Yes in a nut shell its hard to hold an event knowing at any moment some ahole can drop in and slaughter you because your in RP gear and their in full pvp stuff.

To RP on an RP-PVP server you have to be a high level just in case, where as on an RP server you can hit Lv12 get some gear together and your good to go.

having a high lvl is no easy feat on a pvp server really,especially if your starting from scratch,for me i don't wanna server transfer because 20 euros is too much and lvling i don't wanna do because i don't want let's say...my troll face to be destroyed by an alliance or my night elf body...abused (yes that's right,i said it) so...i don't think it would be much fun to do rp on pvp servers really,because the oposing faction never wants you to have fun

Hm, really interesting... I think it all depends on where you have started to play WoW. For you - RPPvP realm is connected with some kind of uncertainty and agression, for me double spec of the realm is just something special about it. Yes, there is always some feeling of uninsurence in neutral zones... Maybe you are haunted at the moment? And are you really alone in this zone? Understanding of danger gives real feeling of adventuring!

By the way, I may proudly admit, we have respect to each other on this server and I do not remember anyone from Horde ganking low lvled Alliance players, or visa versa. Though, yes, RP between fractions sometimes becomes unpredictable ;) But wouldn't things be like this, taking into account, that Horde and Alliance do not like each other?..)

That is just a bit different roleplaying to the one, you will have on pure RP realms. But can't say, that it is worser for that reason ;)

Hi! I've ben omw to make a char on a RP realm for some time now. Venture Co might be the place ^^

Regarding to the pvp issue. dont you normal realm guys think its boring never having to look over your shoulder? With no sense of danger the game becomes boring and gray.. wait not gray, beige!

And sure there are those people on all realms who will kill you and sit on your dead body for hours on end.. But i think on an RP realm thats much more rare. Atleast it was in vanilla.

You can also try to beg for your life. maby he will pity you and leave you alone..Peace! And good luck!

i don't find it fun or adventorous to be afraid of getting murdered in the middle of questing,i would like peace and quiet thank you very much,not be harassed by a lvl 85's that got bored and decided *hmm..you know what we should do? let's hunt random troll players,kill them and speak in their accent* but...that is just me thinking,ah well..good luck with your server though :)

I can talk from experience that PvP servers aren't that bad, really they're not.
of course you meet the random douch who wants to ruin someones day and proceeds to gank everything he can, but that's the same thing with normal RP servers. You meet the random douch of the opposit faction, who just tries to ruin your RP by being annoying, and now you can't even kill him or pay the good PvP'ers to do it for you!

And I'm talking about Darksorrow here, where I lvled the majority of my characters to lvl 85. This is a pure PvP server, with good PvP'ers and it can get rough. But I imagine that on a RPPVP server people would be friendlier and hold less grudges against the other faction for earlier ganks. I know friends who went on a ganking spree in STV on Darksorrow, just because their own alts had been ganked a few times somewhere.

Sadly I'm pretty happy about my own realm, otherwise it would be something I'd consider. But I'm just stating that you don't really have to be that afraid of 'em, especially when it's a RPPVP server. There's less people than on real PvP servers, and people are nicer. So if you're considering moving server, I'd say you should go for it :)

Two thumbs up! The game should be thrilling! Well, but everyone looks for something, that suits him the most... So as in life ;)

Indeed, here everybody understands the specific features of the realm, that is why, really, I have never heard or saw anyone complaining, that he is a low lvl RPer, who has no life here because of nasty gankers... ;)

Also, as partly RP realm, we know each other good. Just an example: as a guild leader, I have contacts as with my side, so as with Alliance' guilds. Any complain of my guildie, that he had some troubles with player from another fraction's guild - we can easily settle the conflict down.
So, there is nothing really to worry about =O
