looking for a proper guild

Im not sure if this is the right forum. But ill explain my situation. I have been playing wow on and off for the last 2 years and everytime i quit playing is because im not able to find a guild with social players who make me feel like i belong there. So this time im going to take it from a different approach. i figured i would make a forum post and see if it will work out o.o please help me find my home :3 and my plan is to make a new char on the realm the guild is on so keep in mind that ill be lvl 1 however i play about 10 -12 hours and am active.
some info about myself: im 20 years old and i live in the netherlands. i enjoy playing wow because i love reading the lore and hunting achievements. also im a big fan of both pve and pvp. i enjoy playing ranged classes and healers. i also enjoy paladin tank :) but ill probably go for ranged or a healer class. i dont mind either horde or alliance. im more familiar with alliance tho. i have acces to a mic and live on my own what im looking for: im looking for a guild thats not to small or to big. i prefer quality over quantity. i honestly dont really care about the guild lvl. i dont mind if its lvl 1, im not joining for perks im joining for other reasons. i prefer a guild that makes use of voice communication, simply because i dont like staring at my screen all day without communicating. i prefer the guild to be international. basicly i just want to enjoy spending time with my fellow guild members, hunting achievements and doing quests. Also a raid once in a while would be nice, it doesnt mean you need to be able to raid right away. just saying it would be nice if its in the future plans. i prefer the realm to be on either a medium or high populated server. im ussually on during the nights and i dont want to feel lonely >.< so yea, if you think your guild can make me feel home please respond to this thread with any questions you might have and if you dont have any questions and simply want me to join convince me that your guild is the one i need and give the realm name and guild name :) |

Hello fellow Dutchie!
I was just browsing through the forums after the servers went down and I stumbled upon your post! I think my guild, The Revival, on Vek'nilash EU Alliance might be a suitable one. Now, of course, that's what everyone will say about their guild, so let me tell you more, haha! The Revival started out as a re-rollers and newcomers project in July 2011, and we also wanted to make sure the guild was friendly, laid-back and not pressurizing people. We wanted to aim at people with responsibilities in real life, such as a job or kids, and who can't play the game unlimited like some people seem to be able to. We managed to get a very great group of people together, and somehow new recruits love us and don't want to leave about an hour after joining us, so I think we're doing something right there! Even though we've aimed at people with lives, it doesn't mean we don't do anything though! We manage to get 2-3 raids a week going, and have fully cleared Dragon Soul on normal so far! One of our members only started playing about half a year ago, and two weeks back she was at our first Dragon Soul kill! She was extremely thrilled, and by doing so has basically become our Guild Icon for the newcomers to this game! Our guild is international enough, I'd say! We've got people from the UK, the Netherlands, Sweden, Romania, Iceland, America, Finland, Denmark, and god knows which countries I've forgotten to mention! When there's no raids going, there's plenty of activity! One group levels some low level alts together, another does some PvP, there's plenty of dungeon runs going at maximum level .. you won't easily get bored, and you can often find someone else up to join what you are up to! Even in the wee hours of the night there's still activity. Usually there are people about until around 3AM, give or take. This is also one of the advantages of having people who work in shifts. :) We use Mumble to communicate. There's usually about 2-5 people on there during the day when nothing is going on, with raids there's the entire team. Usually when we're dungeoning together we join mumble as well. :) The only thing I can't inform you about is the population of our realm, as I myself don't really pay attention to that sort of thing. I do see plenty of activity in Stormwind during the night, so I hope that's a suitable answer! If this has got you convinced you can find us on http://the-revival.enjin.com where you can leave behind an application! Or whisper any of our members in-game for some more details about the guild. Some may answer them themselves, others may direct you to one of our council team :) Lyaera |
