Bonjour à vous tous, mortels

I am here to request the wielder of the name "Thor" to give up the title so I may claim it for myself.
In return, a substantial amount of the seemingly endless gold from the Zantrovian treasury shall be awarded! The current wielder is a level 14 blood elf paladin, whom resides in the guild "Dead Memories". If it is possible to contact this person, please let me know! |

Silly pagan. The God of Thunder and the first son of Odin does not enter to the earthly realms just because you ask him, and certainly not to claim his name and title!

LOL. |

I know =(

I'm not sure if the limit is level 10 or 20, but maybe you could get in touch with a gm to request the name? It's really selfish when people use a fantasy rpg orientated name like that and keep it on an inactive alt. Really annoying! Wish you all the best with finding your name!
Oh and bump :) |

maybe you could use ø instead? I don't usually like using accented words but it is a nordic letter so it could work quite well!

I already am a Hero!

I love seeing good, imaginative, well thought out names that noone has ever used before, especially when you know that the player has taken sooo much time and effort thinking about a good name on a RP-pvp realm.
Thor.. Pfft.. More like Sore... |

I had the same thing with the name "Cicero" the original way of spelling the name of the famous and renowned Marcus Tullius Cicero
However the name is taken by a level 11 Night Elf who has been level 11 for the last two years. After making a ticket I was told that the character has to be level 10 or lower However its not all bad, there are 100s of Cicero's out there, yet I am the one and only Ciscero (at level 85) So I'm slightly unique |

The only issue with using accented letters is that people without the Nordic letters bound (people that don't own a keyboard / laptop made in Scandanavia) wont have the keybind for the letter(s) and it is annoying as hell when you are forming a group for say BH, or for a future event and someone asks for an invite or to invite someone else with non indigenous English or acute accented letters. The only option is to go to wikipedia / google, find the letter(s) in that particular alphabet and copy / paste it in to the name box, which is just too much tedium and work to simply invite someone to an event when you could get someone equally geared without having to go to an external source. |

Considering my accent over the "i" are barely visible at times, I've met that trouble myself when people were to invite me... Still, rather selfish to have a lvl 14 alt that is unplayed for how long and not delete it, occupying a potentially awesome name.

That is actually one heck of a picture and get-up. Impressive.
