He got carried away at the end of Twilight of the Aspects - not dead but not wholly alive - and will probably be a boss in some other Old God based expansion. Perhaps even Mists of Pandaria if the Sha are in allegiance with the Old Gods.

He is suspended in statis in one of the Blue Dragonflight's arcane prisons, and is kept under constant watch from wardens of each flight. I hope he will make an appearance. Maybe he will work for the Old Gods, or the Burning Legion may take him and experiment on him for Sargeras' own ends.

Since it took the combined powers of the aspects to imprison him, i doubt we would be able to kill him in our current state anyway, as we wouldn't have the assistance of the aspects.

I am certain he will be a raid boss at some point . It will be awesome because imagine the intresthing mechanics they can implement in the fight afterall he has 5 heads . They are saving him for the future .
