Needs for more Deeps as fire mage

I recently made the bold change for arcane to fire. My arcane dps was decent but found the mana management boring and wanting to try something different. I read a lot of guides, gem enchanted and respecced to the best of my knowledge correctly. Still battling with the RNG aspect since my dps can vary fron 15k to 35k.
Am I doing something wrong, or does it just take practise? I usually pop combustion with my 3 dots up. Try to time my bomb correct. Use scorch for mass debuff and use fireball as my nuke.Not sure what im doing wrong. Any suggestions from the pros would be awesome. |

Thx cinondra, going to monitor the ignite on my combusthelper, and see if I can approve. On bordering around 400 ilevel, whats the average dps on single targey for fire? I see you are equipped with Dragonwrath so will be way higher for you, but can you guess more or less?

Still battling with the RNG aspect since my dps can vary fron 15k to 35k. Depends on the fight and circumstances, you might go as high as 50k (even with my gear) on Zonozz and get measly 18k on blackhorn... As I see it, the best fight to test your dps is LFR Ultraxion... full buffs and you can ignore HoTs... Thx cinondra, going to monitor the ignite on my combusthelper, and see if I can approve. Remember to divide all ignite ticks by 2, so 20k ignite is an equivalent of 10k combustion... I'd go with 7k combustion though, if gods dont favour me in a particular fight. |

i just pop combustion when i got all debuffs up and 10stacks of 4set bonus so you can use combustion again within like a minute dps range about 20-50k depending on the RNG
