What's up with all guilds?

After some time I've been playing on this server, I've noticed something really interesting.. there are more guilds than there are actual players. This is somewhat causing lots of trouble and disturbance amongst the guilds and people.
What I would like to propose, is to merge guilds together in to a larger scale.. this of course will increase responsibility, but I think this would surely increase the mood for many people, and definitely increase the connection amongst all of us. As of now, I feel like a running ghost amongst everyone else besides those in my little guild. Remember the old days when your name meant something.. let's bring it back |

And how would you want to bring that back... with all the xrealm bs, nonstop name changes, rerolls, server transfers, LFD, LFR.

But in my opinion the biggest "problem" is the fact you can get now the same ilvl of gear in 10 man just like 25 man. So ppl won't bother fixing 25 man guild. Not to mention that you maybe get 3-4 serious 10 man guilds, and all the rest is like "oh lets go make 10 man with friends". Btw I don't mind that ppl get same gear in 10 man like 25 man. I am just saying that"s why there are so many guilds nowadays. Bleh bring MOP already btw, wonder how much time left. My bet is close to christmas since blizzard want us to enjoy diable 3 for a while. I hope they bring a drake like Hallion out or something meanwhile for ilvl416 cloaks or something and necks. :D Greetings^^ |

My own personal thoughts : Loco Motives officers stepped down or stopped played one after another after 7 years, which could be resonable. Only one remaining would be me and having new ones is currently out of the question. I do not have the energy nor the will to pull a 25man guild for the maintenance it requires. It's easier to keep control over 9 others instead of 24. One reason for the many guilds is mainly the guild perk #5. Cash Flow, That puts 5% of the gold looted into the gbank, Create a guild, have an addon spam invites to fresh level 1's and 800 members and you're rich. |
