You're a druid. You don't need to understand CTC. Edit: Oh, lol. I just realised I missed the "a" in "I don't get a CTC", which invalidates what I said. Figures. |

considering spine and madness hc are the hardest fights (both 10 and 25) madness heavily favours stamina and spine (while still needing CTC cap ofc) still loves it, i can see why you did it. hell, even if madness didnt favour stamina its the only good stat to go for after you have the block cap.
edit: this toon is an alt, just thought it would be better to post on my pala considering the subject matter |

I have seen all kinda weird stuff on the net. Plus when I think too much about drinking cows milk I get slightly weirded out so I would rather drink my own... I think I am going to throw my coffee away now.
Happens to me all the time... I am bad for quoting people :P |
No, avoidance after 102.4% ctc is !@#$ compared to stamina. Since theres SO much more magic damage in DS than theres physical. For example, on Madness of DW you only get damage which you can block from the Bloods and Tentacles in P1. On my first 25man kill, I reforged and gemmed all my mastery/dodge/parry away, for more Stam/dps. (Our other tank who was tanking the Tentacle thingy was capped) In 10man, if you solotank you should stay capped. |

You gave the answer away when you mentioned ctc in first post ;p But CTC cap is for scrubs,so thats why you are not on 102.4%? |
|
So the answer is nothing more than "I'm at CTC cap so I'm gemming stamina now like every other Paladin/Warrior does after CTC cap." ??
I'm not convinced people deserve cookies for 'getting' that. It's hardly a riddle! |
|
|
Because in DS most of battles it is about magical damage, and dodge, parry and armor does not much help there.

Actually, when I pass 4000 mastery, stamina becomes 80& of stamina value. To put it short. While I could get 5400 mastery, the amount of absorbs and such goes down. And it's not beneficial to stack mastery, when you bypass the optimal "DS per minute" algorithm. ~4200 to 4400 mastery is optimal without using trinkets. Till then happy gemming to fractures. I keep the cakes. |
