Depending on the reason you want to change the name for it might not be possible. It can only be done in very specific cases such as marriage, a minor coming of age and their account being swapped to from his legal guardian to his own name, a deed poll name change, a blatantly fake name.. things like that.

i need to do this for transfering a character too a friends acount and i get " The destination account must have been created by the same person as the origin account. " all the time so we tried name changing together but too much hastle to change my name

It's against the EULA and TOS to trade characters between accounts you don't own yourself. I would suggest not trying this again. It can and does get people perm bans. |
