No mount at any stable masters

Every time I go to stable masters they don't have any mounts, only a "Rope pet leash". I saw some other mount vendor, he had mounts, but you needed honor or something to buy them.
Does anyone have any idea of what the problem could be? PS, I got the riding skill |

They're not for mounts, they're for pets that Hunters own.

As a Tauren for the mounts you want this NPC:
http://www.wowhead.com/npc=3685 That is, assuming you haven't got exalted with other factions yet, in which case only the Tauren vendor will give you mounts. Edit: link fails so you'll have to copy/paste I guess >.< |

The mount vendors are normally standing next to or very near to the riding trainers.
Stable masters are for hunters to store some of their combat pets. |

You can find the NPC in mulgore to sell you a Kodo.
http://www.wowhead.com/npc=3685 There he is :) You need to buy the riding skill too, there is an NPC nearby to help with that. Edit: Too slow chicken merango. |

The Stable master is for hunter pets.
The mounts is just in your mounts tab. Edit:

They're just specific NPCs that sell mounts.
They don't do anything else - selling mounts is the only reason they exist.
Not until you purchase one. :P |

He has it, noam! Problem is he might've bought the skill at Orgrimmar or somewhere else but the vendor there will be a nasty and not sell any, since after a quick look it seems he hasn't got exalted with them. Hildurur: you'll have to go to that NPC shown in the link Scaramouche/myself linked, he'll sell you a mount. Edit: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/item/15290 this is one of the mounts, at the bottom it shows too which NPC sells it and gives you the option to find the NPC on some external websites that have maps and such, it's in Mulgore. |
