Actually, it is "We are Anonymous" and 9gag stole it as well.
It's old, and reusing it is lame. Also, in a way it's originally from the bible. Gospel of Mark, 5:9; And He (Jesus) asked him (the man), "What is thy name?" And he answered, saying, "My name is Legion: for we are many." And, Gospel of Luke, Luke 8:30; And Jesus asked him, saying, "What is thy name?" And he said, "Legion": because many devils were entered into him. Not that any of it is very interesting. It can also be heard in the movie "Ghost Rider (2007)": When Blackheart reads the contract of San Venganza, he absorbs all 1,000 of the damned souls who signed their names to the contract. After the process is complete, he proclaims, "My Name... Is Legion, For We Are... Many." I could go on.. but I reckon it'd be futile. |

Nothing pains me more than 9gag thinking they're original.

I was gonna make a comment about that.. and then I realized I would be talking about 9gag.

Actually, it is "We are Anonymous" and 9gag stole it as well. http://www.golivewire.com/forums/img.cgi?i=141430 I was all into the "hacktivism" scene way back when it wasn't filled with skids, and when I actually agreed with their political idiocy (Oh god :s) . It's old, and reusing it is lame. Using it in the first place was lame. |
