Recruitment

We are currently have spaces open! We are looking to recruit 1 more player for our roster to bring the guild to a solid 13 players. We require the best out of potential recruits. Not only do you have to be skilled at playing your class, we want our future guildies to gel with the rest of the raiding team. If you get easily offended or don't like getting criticised for slipping up, this may not be the place for you. We do understand that we are only human and mistakes happen, but we aren't stupid and will be able to seperate the junk from the gems.

Who are we?

Nerdfat Trashbads is a new guild that has chosen Azuremyst as its home for Mists of Pandaria. This guild has been formed by a group of players that used to play on Azuremyst around the time of the servers release. Not everyone is from Azuremyst however and we have a few other players that have come from guilds on other servers. The guild has essentially been built through contacts from the past. The guild is coming along nicely with a current roster of 10 players. We are currently finalising our roster and looking around for another 2-3 exceptional players to join us. The majority of our guild have a lot of experience under their belt aswell. A large majority of our members have played in Top 100 guilds and in some cases top 50. This means that the recruitment process will be somewhat strict and if we don't think you meet our standards, you will be turned away pretty hastily.

What are our goals?

Our main goal for Mists will be to enjoy the content presented to us and to complete everything in an un-nerfed, raw state. We will be getting into the thick of things as soon as the expansion goes live. We have a strong attitude towards how we want to progress in Mists and nothing will stand in our way. A lot of planning is currently taking place as how to best start the expansion and get players where they need to be as soon as possible. We arn't specifically aiming for world rankings but with our player calibre, I expect we will do quite well.

Guild Ethics

The guild currently runs on a foundation of knowledge, skill and passion for the game. The majority of our players have played in top 100 guilds in their time and most of us have been playing since classic. As you could imagine, we are all seasoned players so we have a somewhat hardcore attitude towards the game. We expect our players to min/max, put time into obtaining the best gear readily available to them, understand their class mechanics inside out, understand how fights work from 100% - 0% and level alts incase a specific fight requires a certain setup. Our strategies will be tailored to fit the style of our team play. We also expect a high level of skill from our players. If we have a bad player amongst our midst they won't be around long, thats for sure.

Socials

Socials are just as important to us as our raiders. We would like to have a strong sense of community on the server and off. Many of our players play other competative games such as Starcraft2, Dota2, CS:S, HoN, LoL at all skill levels. We also play games such as Civ5, Diablo3, Minecraft and many many more. If you are intrested in becoming a social, do stop by our forums for a chat.

There will be perks for being a consistent contributer to the guild as a social. We have come up with the idea of getting our most valued socials boosts in heroic content to obtain mounts/gear/titles and achievements. This comes free to those that help out on a regular basis and will get priority over anyone wishing to purchase these.

So by one godly player, do you mean any class of any spec? And if i was to join as my main (prot warrior), how "stable" raiding spot would i get for mists of pandaria. Im currently just doing random hc:s/bg:s/arenas until mop. Can't really be arsed to raid dragon soul after getting 5/8hc.

Btw you seem like a really cool bunch of people.

Hi there Ergar, we do indeed mean any class and any spec of godly player. However, godly really does mean just that. We are not currently looking for raiders who can just outperform others within the guild, but players who excel at all levels.

We currently have a very nicely rounded roster, and as such we would be looking at someone who has heroic kills of Ragnaros and Spine/Madness under their belt, or in lieu of that, someone who could provide evidence from earlier content, such as well-dated Lich King HC kills.

In the event that a candidate could fit these criteria and also meshed well within the guild socially, then the raid spot would be as stable as anyone elses in the guild.
