Why all the hate against boa-hunters?
|
|
I mean, sure, they're OP, but many of the people who complain haven't put any effort at all into their own character. No boa's, no enchants, not even any RUM!
If people join BGs for xp, why don't they at least do their part on getting their chars at least a little less killable? People with 250hp complaining just makes me sad... even my Imp cries! So please... either bring something usefull to a BG, or stop making my Imp cry! |

@ all the bao hunters, I get Warbringer and Hamstring soon! So no more of you backpeddling loling :D
@Gilrak, stop trying to be the voice of the newcomers, no-one is forced to do BG's. |

Alright, you want a real effort into why they're overpowered.
Let's take my warrior, for example. Before getting juggernaut (look it up), we can't charge in combat. If a hunter so much as sets their pet on us, there's nothing we can do because as soon as the pet "aggros" us, we're in combat, even before the pet reaches us. We can be slowed, even if we're not two-shotted. And, just to be clear, I was in full BoAs, except the head. Hunters are overpowered because they can unload two abilites in a single GCD. They do physical damage which hurts the clothies a lot more. A plate wearer might survive a bit longer, but considering they can be kited... Clothies, the armor, right... as if a clothie is gonna survive more than a few seconds. And even if hunters backpedal, they're still moving faster than a kited warrior is. Even rogues aren't this much of a problem. At least they have to expose themselves to some damage. Hunters don't. Low level BGs used to be the best part of leveling. If you're bored questing or LFG in Trade for a dungeon (yeah, people used to do that before the easy mode that is WoW became available with this sh*t expansion), a BG was a nice break. Everyone was in their questing or dungeon gear. Stuff which had to be earned in a competitive manner and none buying it with honor or justice. And, if you're gonna rip of the Smurfs, get a blue theme. So, before you start shooting your mouth off about low levels not bringing anything, consider what I said or shut it, alright? |

can unload two abilites in a single GCD Wut? Unless you're talking about the 2.5+ second cast time + Chim(69), or auto shot you are clearly exaggerating. So, before you start shooting your mouth off about low levels not bringing anything, consider what I said or shut it, alright? i lost all respect for you argument when I saw your guild name. |

Stamina rum is from 'The escape from Durnholde' dungeon, in the instance there is an inn, go in there and speak the guy selling the beverages. |
Also, at least according to Wowhead, you can get |

Blizzard don't want new players. they want old players to make them feel special.

Yeah, thats what i said back in TBC.
Here i am trying to play high rated arena solo and people dying in two dot ticks from my SLSL warlock. Grrr. Guess its the same for BOA hunters today. You really get tired of pwning unskilled players. |

Since you clearly did not understand my question ill ask again. Where does a lvl 14 get the stamina rum? |

fishing. Yes.. i'm sure fishing is a good source for that item, i'm sure 1 hour of fishing will give you enough of these things for all your low level pvp, for the rest of your life and forcing newbies to spend 10's of gold every single BG is also a great idea. oh wait... |
|
|
So it seems unfair to you that you benefit of having a high level char? Better also give new players 1k gold so they can grind through without thinking of gold because you need gold to make gold, unless you're slowly killing yourself grinding.

Think i'm going to stop posting on these forums, it's full of angry children.

If it makes you feel any better, at least Hunters no longer have proc based stuns in their shots anymore. Vanilla you could get up to 50% chance on concussion shot stunning the target for a few seconds on a level 19 twink, and still have a couple of talents left over. (:
