Am i ready to raid? What raids am i ready for ?

Hello there, i just started getting in some more "serious" gaming, and i really wanna start raiding. I've never done high lvl raiding before so i kinda need other players to tell if im ready.
So, am i ready as a healer with the gear i have? And which raids could i go on a hunt for ? Please take ur time and answer, i appreciate it :) // C |

Yes, you're more than ready to heal a normal DS run and even some heroic modes.
The only thing which is off, is that you're using a DPS necklace but I suppose that can't be helped. |

Yeap, will do that. I hate being in a position where i did wrong not knowing what i did that was wrong.
What do u think for specc though? Should i stay with my atonement specc or go regular disc or just go holy ? |

Play what you enjoy. I couldn't possibly tell you what you'll be good at.
Your spec needs some tweaking imo. I.e. get rid of those two points that you spent in train of thought (depends if you find yourself spamming greater heal) and put them into veiled shadows in the shadow talent tree as it would mean you can get 2 shadow fiends in 1 fight. Also get rid of desperate prayer and max out inspiration. Personally I never find myself in a situation where I need that instant heal. Perhaps it's good for progressing on fights i.e. when you mess up. |

Okay, i've been searching around and i cant find a pug who will take me in since i dont have an ahievment ._.
Guess im going guild hunting so i can find some kamrats for a raid group :) Thanks for ur edvices ! |

If you need a good spec or gear info checking noxxic is usualy a good idea. they also have great advice for gems and enchants.
About a guild. In asylum we could always use good healers though we only have one raid team and can't promise a spot every week. so if you ever concider a realm transfer just let me know. you could check out our website at asylumonline.guildlaunch.com We re mostly a guild where the members have jobs, family, and a real life and the most important guild rule is that real life comes first and the game should stay fun. we place a good attitude and personality above player skills. about raiding. we just got heroic morchock down. working our way up but we do normal runs to get others into raiding as well. I know it's a pain, people can be so anal sometimes. And on wow they gain some control and they go crazy with it, enforcing the dumbest rules just to make up for the pathetic existence that they lead. There's an add on called underachiever it basically links achieves that you don't have. Go check it out Good luck |

Most (good) raid leaders check on progress websites like wowheroes if you downed a boss. (at least i do) so don't think it works. thoug i do give people chanses if they show comitment even if they didn't down a boss. thats what most other raid leaders don't do.
