Is your subscription even worth it as PvP'r?

I mean seriously is it even worth it? PvP players always pretty much gain the boot when it comes down to it. Every patch they focus mainly on their new raid while not focusing on PvP balance. Certain things are very powerful and a bit OP, this isn't a QQ balance post so I won't go into these issues but to say, this game is fairly unbalanced.
Also every patch is the same balance updates + some pvp gear which you have to grind. I don't even know why they decided that there should be multiple tiers for PvP which give you advantages over others who come in later that season. It kills off PvP for those who didn't really start at the beginning of the season since it's hard to find an arena partner to play with you and your crappy gear since it would be much more difficult to get high. Why can't there just be 1 PvP item set , resilience isn't even reforgeable...... anyways a bit off topic there but that doesn't satisfy me at all and I find that hardly worth my money. Their PvE raids are just terrible. It forces socialization with a lot of people I don't like therefore I refuse to raid. So I'm basically donating to Blizzard because PvP balance doesn't ever come although they try but for certain not hard enough. Also I don't consider Tol Barad and revamped battlegrounds worth my money either.... Also it wasn't really hard implementing a rated battleground system. At launch you didn't even lose rating when you played RBG.... just another proof that Blizzard only balances for PvE and only cares about if the 10 man raids (10 because Blizzard hates 25 and 40 man raiding) and how fast they can kill a lame dragon which should already have been dead in one of their previous games =(. So why would I pay 13 euros a month for this piece of garbage? Yep there is none as I am glad to play on private servers because Blizzard just don't offer for what they should for a P2P game imo. |

No it's not worth it right now.
In Wrath it was worth it but I feel like Blizzard deserves another chance with MoP, if that sucks I'm going to quit. |

It's worth it if you have fun, it's that simple. If you're here because you enjoy the game despite everything wrong with it it's fine, if you're here because you're already addicted then you might as well quit and get addicted to some cheaper drug.

I keep mine because paying 26p per day is easier than cancelling a sub.

Uuh, varies. I log on for like 10 mins every few days now a days to say hi to some people, that's about it. I guess if I was remotely interested in rated PvP this season I might have more to do though. Can only farm BGs so much till even that becomes boring.

Considering how much money I spend on other useless stuff I'd say yeah, wow is worth it.

This, no matter how bad the state of the game it keeps me entertained (busy is probably a better word) and is definately worth the £9 a month |

I'm guessing that OP do not have level 85 mage, rogue or at least Feral druid, am I right?

This season absolutly no. I don't enjoy doing arenas on my DK, so I'm semi switching to PvE.

Balancing issues isn't the problem. That's something you can practice so you'll find a great strategy for it.
My problem is that I log in everyday hoping that I'll play 3v3 but unfortunatley my arena partners aren't even online. Really really annoying. There is those who got BiS gear but not the skills There is those who got crappy gear but has the experience There is those who got the skills, BiS gear and the experience but aren't active... |
