I created this free to 20 lvl account in order to talk with some former in-game friends on one server but now it seems there is no way for me to talk?Not even "say"seems to be heard by other people which i thought it will work.

Mail,whisper and rest also don't seem to work so is there anyway to communicate on this account ?

You can pretty much only use /s and /w can only be used to players that have you on their friends list, /p works when in party (someone else have to invite you to party tho). Mailbox, /1 and /2 is something you'll never have access to on a trial account I'm afraid.

I think /s may be level limited. So you can only be heard by people of equivalent level. Not sure if its true, but a guildie told me that a few weeks ago in a similar discussion. Wouldn't bet the bank on it, but is a possibility. I imagine there is a thread or info page out there somewhere with all the answers you are looking for, but not sure where it is.

It's true. Say does not work. Actually, it works when they address you first. I know it sounds silly but it's true.

Also, say can be seen by players who are lower level then you.

So, basically, you need to find a guilded (shows you that player is not on free account) lower level player and say to him to /w your friend and tell him to add you to his friends list.

Essentially this, unless there is a way to get in touch with them via out of game means, such as a guild forum. Gonna be a bugger to pull off, but I suppose if you ask here someone would mail/whisper a few of the people you are after.

I'd be happy to, but at the minute I'm out of gametime and can't play or use many threads. If you still can't get in touch with them in a few days when hopefully my time card arrives, I'd be happy to help.
