[MoP Lore?] Spoilers included - New Warchief?
Why not Mankrik? He's been around since the beginning, everybody know who he is, most have been looking for his wife and since Cata's release he's probably killed more NPCs than any of the other candidates. And if that doesn't sound impressive, which candidate besides Saurfang is actually known for his/her ability to kill player characters?

Try and imagine a Son of Arugal, a Devilsaur or a Fel Reaver as Warchief. |
It will be Leeeeeeeeeeeroy Jenkins
I'd guess Thrall still, Blizz apparently loves him and every WoW player knows him, so he ain't like SMC's ruler "Bob" who know one knows really. Other than that Nazgrim could be a safe bet though now-a-days who knows.. Maybe the Fel Reaver goes trough x)
Posted by Nokhan ... Fel Reaver would be awesome. |
I prefer Gamon, with his new axe!

I think we all know that the Orcs would rather have an Orc Farmer as Warchief than someone that isn't an Orc.
My bet is on Rexxar...or Saurfang |

Thrall's not going to be Warchief again. It's been confirmed.

Oh..best case scenario..The Banshee !@#$% becomes the Hordes new Warchief :D Fixed it for you. |
Zaela Dragonmaw and I'll move all my characters onto the Horde.
Sylvanas Windrunner and I'll make all my characters forsaken and blood elves. |
I think the way that they introduce Nazgrim is a big suspecious. I'd be cool enough if he became Warchief, but it'd be a waste of a good opportunity if they didn't pick Saurfang. As I have explained in other threads; If Saurfang became Warchief following Garrosh's death, he would die of old age in perhaps 15 - 20 years?
In 15 - 20 years, who would then be Warchief? Thrall's son! It fits perfectly! |
Dunno if anyone else mentioned it, but many people seem to think it'll be Sunwalker Dezcow (spelling) or something, a Tauren Paladin introduced in Pandaria who really dislikes Garrosh and gets on well enough with Anduin.
A tauren paladin? As a warchief of the Horde? Oh, the rage... |
Also, what the hell kind of -tauren- name is -Dezco-? |
You're not the first one to ask that question, Zenz. People are contacting GMs to get an answer, really.
But I like him anyway :P |

I think it will be Mankirk, Prologue re-wrote their lore to make hmi Warchief so if their staff deemed him appropriate I feel that Blizzard will too.
Anyway Horde is lame, I want to see Tirion go crazy and establish some sort of Light-worshipping Empire that focuses on the decimation of all heretics. Edit: On second though it will turn into a council of all the leaders, (making it far more interesting to role-play tension between the races and who has the upper hand etc, probably blood elves since more people play them) |

-Overlord Saurfang, a good ol' long standing and prominent figure of the horde. We've seen him from the early days of WoW and he's has some huge involvement (Icecrown, Wrathgate, Northrend assault, yada yada.) He's one of my tops to become Warchief, however he's getting on in his years which could be stopping him from rising to the mantle. If it's not Saurfang to be new war-chief, then i lose all faith in Blizzard. He's a veteran and wise orc, he knows how to command and still has the bitter taste of alliance to keep he ol' Horde vs Alliance alive. He has knowledge, he's a good fighter, respect and reason, if this isn't enough to make the grade of war-chief then hell i haven't a clue what would make one. |

All i know is that Garrosh will face Wrathions judgement. why?
http://mop.wowhead.com/achievements=1.96.15110?filter=na=Chapter :). So Wrathion for warchief, or Kargoth. |
