@Hulaine I appreciate the feedback, but surely the soft expertise cap is worth getting? With your build, I'm one under. |

@Ropax: Haha, and i'm 3 points overcapped on expertise due to i can reforge it so im closer to expertise cap but this would lose me mastery and as such i'd prefer to be slightly overcapped :p |

@Hulaine I don't know how it was before, but if you're on 25 expertise versus say 27, you will still hardly ever get dodged. 25 is basically 26(not to say you should always aim for 25 then, because it would ever matter, but the chances of being dodged on 25 are near to none, and if you can squeeze extra mastery from losing expertise at 27 to 25, it's worth it) On Ropax. There's hardly anything I see to improve, other than to change reforging on relic from crit-> mastery to exp-> mastery, and if you're playing serious enhancement competitively, Tailoring isn't probably the best profession. Other than that it seems solid. |

This. Around the higher ends of 25 Expertise, Mastery get about the same value, and at 540 Expertise Rating EnhSim have you at 0.00% dodge on all melee attacks in a 5000h simulation. So if you can get a more Mastery-efficient reforge by staying slightly below cap, it will be worth it. |

@Clariel
For your gear, I'd say reforge all of that crit you've got flying around into haste, which is our best secondary stat. Then for your spec, mostly it's good, just take out points from Convection and put them into Ancestral Swiftness, it just makes it better for movement oriented fights. Then my personal preference would be to take out points from Totemic Reach and pop them into Ancestral Resolve, 'cause there can be a lot of random damage flying around these days, and any attempt at reducing it taken is a bonus for healers xD. Glyphs are good from what I can tell. Although take out the Glyph of Healing wave and replace it with Thunderstorm or something, just 'cause you'll never really cast HW. With your Resto spec though, I'm not sure what's going on :S If it's a PvP spec then I can't help much, but if it's a PvE spec, maybe look at mine for a guideline. |

@reaperofsoul
its better to go crit + mastery stacking if you dont have the stats needed to reach the second haste cap, i think its better to stack mastery + crit then going for second cap anyways for big burst healing Well i went and reforged...just now went and did...DS10man...and my hps well has increased...but the healing done has decreased...which is weird...any help would be appreciated...ty cheers Reaper |

@ayelet
Was wondering about your specc, but it made sense when your iL is so freaking high ;) Not missing telluric currents must be nice. Nothing to report ma'am :D |

The only advice i could give you is to not take any advice from me since I took about 5 years off WoW (and used to play on US servers) & I may as well be a noob again.
Any help for the direction to take this char in would be appreciated. |

Oh, lord. Okay. You have tons of PvP gear, but your spec looks PvE---ish, so I'll help with the PvE side.
a) Do a lot of dungeons and farm justice points like mad b) Get yourself some 359 PvE items from reputation (Earthen Ring has a ring, Hyjal one has boots, Ramkahen has a helm enchant, Therazane has shoulder ones) - so wear a rep tabard while farming dungeons c) Do Molten Front dailies d) Do LFR e) Try to pug DS f) Lose 2 points in spark of life, and 1 point in concussion, put them in to elemental precision g) Lose a point in improved shields and 2 points from totemic reach, put them to elemental devastation h) Gather up 2,2k valor points and buy the valor helmet i) Try to get yourself on some firelands runs with heroic bosses (namely Rhyolith for a BiS cape, Ragnaros for a great trinket and a BiS neck-piece), also, if you manage to get a crystallised firestone I believe it was, you will get a great relic out of it (imo, better than the valor one, even though it's lower iLvl) j) Get your caps sorted. You need to be spellhit capped (17%; 1742 rating) > expertise capped (26; 541(?) rating) > mastery > crit > haste. So you will always want to be above the spell hit cap, and always want to be at 26 or 25 if it's near-impossible to reforge to it. Mastery is the sole stat you want the most on your items, get a lot of it. Reforge all the haste from every item as much as you can. k) Get proper crafting professions unless it's an alt l) Learn your rotation, perfect it, then learn it again (also, in the Enhance thread on EJ) m) Read the Enhance topic on Elitistjerks, and then again, and once more - http://elitistjerks.com/f79/t127416-enhancement_4_3_least_your_old_axe_good_transmog/ n) Always gem for as much agi as you can, ignore 10 agi socket bonuses if possible. Avoid gemming for hit if possible, only agi/mastery gems in to yellow sockets. That's, uhm.. pretty much it. |
|
Kragar well im not very familiar with Enha but shouldn't you keep your gem bonus in hands? im just saying!

Get better enchants, missing chest enchant - need 50 intellect on bracers.
Could do with some better reforging you are a bit above hit cap. A great addon for this is reforgelite you can put in your own stat-weights and let it calculate the most optimal reforge. I'd try to get rid of all crit and some haste into mastery. Otherwise it looks good. |
