The Highland Warriors need you! We are looking to recruit more players for our roster as we look to the new horizons of Pandaria. We require the best out of all our players: not only do you have to be skilled at playing your class, we want our new recruits compliment the rest of the guild. We're not necessarily after the most hardcore, or the most elite, or the most experienced. Gear can be looted, and experience can be gained: we want players who are willing to make the best of themselves, who respond positively to feedback and suggestions for play. We understand that we are only human and mistakes happen, but you need to have the right attitude and the strength of character to accept when things need to change. And act upon it. Currently Recruiting: 2 x Tanks of any class 5 x dps 3 x healers ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Who are we? The Highland Warriors are a friendly community of like-minded players, over the age of 18: we've been around on Thunderhorn for 7 years now - an achievement in its own right. We've been raiding since Raggy needed 40 (wo)men to take him down and we're still going strong. We're a semi-hardcore raiding guild, who manage to tred the fine line between successful end game raiding, without the huge demands on playtimes. The majority of our guild have a lot of experience, with many Vanilla players. We have very little movement out of the guild - players stay here for the long term and we're keen to keep it that way. Therefore, the recruitment process is pretty strict and if we don't think you meet our standards, you will be turned away pretty hastily. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What are our goals? Our main goal for Mists will be to enjoy the content presented to us and to complete everything in an un-nerfed, raw state. We will be getting into the thick of things as soon as the expansion goes live. We have a strong attitude towards how we want to progress in Mists : a lot of planning is currently taking place as how to best start the expansion and get players where they need to be as soon as possible. This expansion has seen members of the guild achieve the Rogue Legendary Daggers, Golad, Twilight of Aspects Tiriosh, Nightmare of Ages and FOUR Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest. Whilst we're keen to add to our arsenal of legendarys, we aren't specifically aiming for any server firsts. But with our player calibre, we expect to chart pretty highly. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Guild Ethics The guild runs on a foundation of fairness, knowledge, skill and passion for the game. The majority of our players have played for at least a few expansions and many of us have been playing since Vanilla. As you could imagine, we're seasoned players so we whave a serious attitude towards our raids. Experience isn't always necessary but we expect our raiders have a can-do attitude, to work hard to obtain the best gear available to them, understand their class mechanics, understand how fights work and research best practises outside of the game. Our strategies will be tailored to fit the style of our team play, so we also expect a high level of skill from our players. For players who struggle, we have a dedicated Officer who can help you find a style which suits you, and benefits the raid. We're an adaptable guild. "Thanks" to Cataclysm's lock-in system, we switch between 25 and 10 man raids depending on demand and make good progress on both modes. Everyone gets a chance to raid who wants to, provided they meet the guild minimum requirements. Our community is important to us, and we want new members to be a part of it: we are after players who are willing to find their voice in guild chat, contribute to our forums and participate in guild life outside of the raiding environment. It inspires loyalty and genuine joy in being a part of a successful team. And it is for this reason that we accept applications from main characters only and encourage all played alts to move too. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Raiding Wednesday: 21:00 - 23:30 Server Time Thursday: 21:00 - 23:30 Server Time Saturday: 20:30 - 00:00 Server Time Sunday: 20:30 - 00:00 Server Time In addition to these regular raid days we have alt-runs, acheivement runs and occasionally PvP on off-days that you can participate in. We also regularly use Monday as a day to clear all remaining bosses.
