I don't wanna leave Doomhammer because I've start on this server and here for 7 years. :) and i have lots of friends here so I don't wanna leave them. Doomhammer needs us because we are like legends. Not me but, Dofty, Mumuk, Dukii.... and more. We need to rise new players to good ones, we need to keep Doomhammer alive! |

What we had was somting special, the yugoslavs the russians in The lost chapther gonne with them; gonne to the realm of darkness; but no. The light of doom will never fade, so be strong and hold your head, cause its gonna be an hard fight for the horde in the west and for us in the east. The pandas are coming and we are taken as fools, will the aisen food be good? Eh erh ? I do think its fine and dandy, but come one rakija is fantastic ^^. |

Cata has been a huge failure for Bliz and us. Its not just doomhammer that has struggled
Lack of content being the main problem. Once people hit 85 at the start of cata, they found the heroics too hard and too long. I hated them and i raid a lot, spending 2 hours on some heroics because of bad groups was no fun. T11 was decent sized in boss numbers, but too hard for the casual player, took too long for pugs to start. Yeah raiders liked it, but keeping a server going you need to introduce people to raiding. There was no decent daily hob until firelands hit. This stunned me, as the big island in TBC and the argent tournament in WotLK was so popular. This wiped out a lot of casual players, that might have evenutally moved onto to become raiders and in turn more active in the game/server. Firelands/Dragonsoul were way too short and too easy even on heroic level. I feel they should have been launched together, giving us 14 bosses instead of 2 sets of 7 over the course of too long a period. This caused the more hardcore players to get bored too quickly and leave the game. Then there was LFR, if you can kill DW on LFR, there is no real motivation to join a raiding guild and in turn throw away hours and hours each week, just to see the end content that you have already seen. It also caused raiders to burn out too quickly, since doing stupidly easy LFR on exactly the same fights as main raiding on all your alts gets boring fast. Heroic raid difficulty needs to be a significantly different fight as compared to LFR, to make it interesting for people that are new to raiding. Right now, its pretty much the same fight but with more dmg incoming. If bliz can get the balance right in Mists between difficulty for raiding guilds and casuals a like, and give plenty of content, then i think Doomhammer and other servers will come back alive. Huge IF and from what i have seen so far, i have my doubts. Vigi remains strong, but we are finding it harder and harder to recruit. |
