Hello everyone,
I am getting quite bored of my paladin and I'm looking for a new character. I want a DPS char which has the highest damage/dps, I only do pve. Btw, is there any way you guys could tell me which is/will be the best dps class in MoP? :D Thank you very much. :) |

I am sorry but that is impossible. Even if I knew what class was the best at the moment in the beta they are constantly changing everything.
So even if e.g. rogues would be the best now that could have changed by the time MoP comes out. |

go for the class which you find the most fun, all classes can pull good enough dps for raiding unless your pushing for world firsts where every single bit of dps counts.

Go shammy - Ascendance + wolves + personal heroism + imp elementals = your argument is invalid!
Dont know about numbers but that will look so cool! |

You can never go wrong with a DK. They are always solid on both single target and AOE dps and are very fun to play, and if you ever want to make the transition you can tank as well. Also, you start at level 55 so less painful leveling to do, and you get a combat ress.
Of all the dpsers I played in WoW - Mage, Pala, DK, Warrior, Shammy, SPriest, DK was the most fun of the bunch (Go unholy for extra challenge and fun). |

DKs are powerful all the time, not quite the top but they're always in the top half.
Hunters are looking to be okay, as long as you stay the hell away from PvP - We're gonna be a free kill again. Pandas - Hero class etc. Fire mages are gonna be powerful, but once again try not to be tempted by going frost, you'll lose all dignity, friends and your family will hate you for the rest of your WoW Life. |
Despite all the hunters whining, they haven't seen a patch in the last 3 years where they weren't top half either. They somehow slip under the radar a lot, though. Probably due to legendaries and warriors topping them.
Which brings me onto the main point - warriors. You will never go wrong with a warrior, look at dps from every patch since the beginning of the game if you want to see why. |

Heard Hunters were going to be pretty OP in MoP, correct me if I'm wrong

Wrong, All talents seem primarily PvP orientated not much to pick up if your PvE other then Readiness in all specs. Survival feels incredibly clunky i had to change back into MM it was that bad on Beta. If anything I'll probably be rerolling Boomkin. |

The top class for PVE changes every patch, so there's not much point in leveling a class just to be the top for one patch.
But some classes have been top 5 every patch. Out of 22 that's pretty significant. |
I would go Warr. The only patch since 3.0 when Warrior Dps wasn't top5 Dps was Ulduar.
If you ignore the 2 first months of Cata before 4.0.6, SPs have been rocksolid this expansion. No idea if it will stay that way in MoP though. Rogues always seems to be horrible during the first Tier of the expansion, then they get buffed in the 2nd and stay very competitive after that. Warlocks are usually very solid aswell |
Locks, warriors mages and rogues are always a solid choice, among with hunter and spriest (altho they have some low times, like Spriest in Ulduar)
Guys look im a warrior and never do a warrior in mop they suck. This is just a idea everyone kills me
Yeah in beta, warriors suck so much. We cant do any decent damage without reck and avatar, but they have 3 and 5 min cds. -.- Our damage is very low compared to most classes, he should be buffed! |

DK,mage (mages are still damn strong imo)boomkin and Monk
