Stop trolling Ulduar
|
Hello everyone,
Today i was leading Ulduar 25 Glory run. This day at 12.00 i tried to search people. LFM Glory of Ulduar 25 Fragments reserved. Going fresh & Full run. Spammed in trade channel. Managed to get in 30 minutes. Where almost full, people that already was in Ulduar started clearing trash and ninja pulling boss. They wiped. When i get in with everyone alives we managed to kill Levi in less then 15 sec. smooth. But it was that some people destroyed towers so we failed at Levi glory achiev. At Ignis i said DPS race full nuke. We managed to get Glory achiev. I said leave Razorscale at last and go XT clear trash left and right sides. We managed to nuke XT with Glory achiev. Next we go Algalon they already started without me and a dk. We where almost inside the fight but went down to the ground and died. They nuked as i said DPS race and enter black holes when Big Bang coming. Also they managed this. And then i said Go go Steelbreaker some people wait at Kologarn i said Steelbreaker first. So they went there i was still busy doing loots. They started without me so i wait. Some mage was ninja pulling and made the fight reset. He was trolling with us. We didnt got the glory achiev somehow. So we continue Kologarn i said wait there and ll explain tactics. GRP 1 + 2 go kill Chest to 40% GROUP 3 left arm group 4 right arm. Before starting that mage did again trolling us with reset and i kicked him. He ninja pulled the boss ofcourse and we start nuking Kologarn. He went grey somehow we managed to kill all together but we didnt get achiev. So everyone was raging ofcourse and i couldn't manage all that anger as leading the raid so i disbanded. This is not funny. i am leading and people ignore my calls, my leadership and i failed. i am dissapointed and sorry for my bad english. Stormscale-EU 12.30 - 13.30 Sambalkoning (Horde) |

If you wish to report the player for harassment, you can do so in-game. The name of the Mage along with the details quoted below and examples of what did would be very helpful.
As an aside, if people start trolling the raid, personally I normally give them one warning then simply remove them. It's a game, and not worth getting stressed out over. |
How did the OP do this? |
Naming and Shaming is not allowed. Actually he states his own name not the mage's :P |

Make your rules clear when people join, prepare raidwarning macros to spam when people join the group.
Tell people they will be kicked if they ninja pull, no second chances. Tell the group before each boss, which boss is next. This way the ones who know their way around will move to the right place. If possible try to bring a friend or guildie who will masterloot but isn't interested in the achievements so if a boss is pulled early at least you will be there. This would really need to be a nice person to spend an hour or two in Ulduar for nothing. Alternatively, if it is not a transmog run, don't even bother with masterloot, just stick it on Group Loot and go. |
Make your rules clear when people join, prepare raidwarning macros to spam when people join the group. Thanks for the big tip. I will try that next time. Loots was simple. Fragment is reserved and roll for transmog. But the thing is, i do this every week and every week it went fine. People listening to me, everyone was polite and the raid was nice smooth run. Now it went horrible and i hope the next week it will be better. Being a Raid Leader is hard task atleast its not my best part but trying to learn. |

Being a raid leader of a PuG in WoW, especially the ones to Ulduar or 80 raids, is like being a supply teacher for a class of chavs. Doing the Blood Infusion for the Shadowmourne quest chain, for example, is damn near impossible in a PuG. Honestly, pugging is like babysitting most of the time.
Your best bet is to get a group of people you know and clear it with as small a group as you can. I've done a number of bosses in Ulduar 25 with 5 people, for example. |
|
Almost all of Ulduar 25 should be very easy with 8+ people. The only fight you might see problems on is Yogg and only if you want to do Alone in the Dark otherwise you can take Freya and relax.
In a pug with 25 players everything will be made harder for you simply by it being so easy to nuke everything. |
The problem with that is if you're not there to see who pulled or who keeps pulling. It may be 1, it may be half the raid. |

Caps lock and raid warning always does the trick. If they still don't listen just kick them, easy.

Haha - thats an awesome analogy. I've done this myself - and its perfect. You spend half your time yelling 'No!, Wait!, Stop!, Don't touch that! Right the next person who...put that knife down Uberpwnmge. Don't stick that in there! OMG I can't believe you did it' STOP!' We need a pug raid naughty step, or a dunce hat :D |

Hmm. I've led numerous old achievement raids and I've never felt suicidal, so I'm not sure if that can quite be right! :P |

I know I was being sarcastic. The original post is just one of the reasons why no LFD is not good. |
