Where can i find a list of the best in slot Holy Priest gear ?
i seen a few websites but they seem to contradict eachother :( |

It's pretty common sense, when you know what stats you want on gear.
I.e. depends on haste or mastery. I've seen some holy priests go for haste and others for mastery. E.g. tier chest or the one that drops from morchok? The tailoring crafted spirit and haste wrists or the hc ones that drop from yor'sahj. As I said it's pretty common sense. |

/end sarcasm. You dont really have many choices in DS regarding itemisation. There is only one chest piece with spirit (and as holy you want tons of spirit) and one random drop ring from any boss with spirit (talking about hc quality stuff here). Happily, all the tier pieces have spirit, and no hc alternatives, so there you go, 6 pieces solved. The mace from deathwing is pretty much bis if you run 25 mans, if not, pretty equal to some dagger from one of those undefined bosses (yorsahj i think, if not, zonozz). The offhand from ultraxion os the only one with spirit in DS (didnt notice any other tbh, with or w/o spi, might be one with hit). There is a wand w/o spirit from hagara, I think. The only neck with spi is from morchock hc. There is no hc quality cloak, so the bis one is the valor one. For wrists, belt and boots - you got crafted/vp choices with spirit, no raid drops, there are however drops w/o spirit if you feel comfortable with mana (one of each, cant remember which bosses drop what). For the 2nd ring, there is one w/o spi from hagara. As trinkets, Heart of unliving is bis for holy, and you got 2 more healy ones with int - one with a heal proc and one with a haste proc. Thats about it. The only choice you have is between stuff with spirit and stuff without. With the nerfs, you prolly can afford some non-spi pieces even as holy, if you beat the mages rolls. If not, vp rewards and tailoring. |

I do think that nonhit clot items are for healers too, but I still prefer spirit items. If I could I would take nonspirit items as long as they have haste on them, because spirit and haste are my best secondary stats, so item without one of these stats is not for me.
Or go for Majordomo and get your trink from there. I am really fan of flat stats or on use trinkets, so I think haste as proc is not as useful as flat one (the proc spirit is exclusion to that statement). So that's why I use majordomo trink with haste in my items, in bad mana burning times I can have my man saviour (which totaly sucks i normal version in MoP). |
